Credit card sized blades have been around for years, look on ebay for "multi tool knife".

Wish I could agree with you Otoko, but she still needs to put her case to the public and answer potentially difficult questions - IMHO.

As for Ms. Nauert, you didn't think these porno chicks were all normal girls working their way through college, did you?
The extremists on both sides should be allowed to fight just to lower their numbers in the gene pool. The credit card sized knives I thought were a smart move because they are likely to get by a cursory police search - which has been occurring. I haven't seen much blood in the first few clashes between these groups and that may change.

The nude pic was posted because this is a porn site and I think she has a nice body although I certainly agree that mentally she is far from normal. I appreciate any woman willing to show a nice body no matter what her political bent.

I can't see any reason why a non-extremist, non media type would venture near these well publicized clashes - I mean, doesn't it seem that the press outnumbers the participants? So I am trying to get some enjoyment out of watching these train wrecks.

I don't suppose it has occurred to CARLTON, and it wouldn't occur to me either, to write to your MP and tell them to "Buck your ideas up sonny and start doing something for your local constituency instead of warming the backbenches or else.", and unless you are a member of a local constituency party there is no way to hold your MP to account.

Ah me, how I drone on sometimes! But I read the recent posts on the constitution with interest as much of intelligence was written, and it got me to thinking that a 'Constitution of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland' is long overdue. Come on ERII, how about taking the lead on this one?
Actually, I have had several exchanges with my local MP in recent years about issues from housing to traffic problems and wind turbines. The response is always the same - I'll look into it. I've also had a few direct meetings with them. Really, quite a nice person, but totally bloody useless. My other half has also pestered this person over the Women's pensions issue, along with others in the same situation. They all received a nice response and the MP agreed it was wrong, but then went in the other direction when instructed to tow the party line.

Unfortunately there is no serious opposition to my local MP. They will get back in with a substantial number of votes and that's about the sum of it.

This week, I have noticed that the nuclear Armageddon that was imminent last week is no longer newsworthy now that We are having an election..

C-B My wife was dismayed when I was in Iraq to find that one of the labourers at the place she worked was paying £21 a week to send parcels to his son and nephews. She was paying £7 to send parcels to me, but given her job and my rank it was no problem. She was very upset that this chap, who was not earning a great deal was spending a good deal of his income on postage.

She contacted our local MP, a Labour man, and gave him both barrels. Not bothered about what we pay but very bothered that a man in his later years has to pay proportionally much more. He was on the case straight away (sensible as the old trout was not for taking prisoners) he didn't promise to look into it but actually was one of the leaders of the free postage for the troops campaign. The paper trail between him and my old stick was quite amazing, she was quite forceful and he knew his place. It does work sometimes you know.

Thanks for that Harold. It's certainly the way things should be, but sadly, it seems that this tends to be the exception, rather than the norm.

The University of California at Berkeley seems to have been chosen as a battleground for the Alt Right groups and the Anti-Fa groups. Ann Coulter was scheduled to speak there April 27th, but the school canceled it while trying to schedule it for May 2nd, a date Coulter says she cannot make. She still is coming April 27th.

The latest bit of news coming from these clashes is that one of the hooded Anti-Fa's has been identified as a professor - http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2017...ofessor-video/ He supposedly smacked a Trump supporter in the back of the head with a bike lock. Will be interesting to see if this is true.

I guess this is like when the Brown shirts use to fight the Communists in the decades leading up to WW2? Or more probably like the myriad number of fights between hotheads of extremist groups clashing all over the world in every decade.

Hope more porn stars appear - would be interesting to see an Alt Right porn star in all her glory.

Default First coal-free day in the UK since Industrial Revolution

Britain went a full day without using coal to generate electricity for the first time since the Industrial Revolution, the National Grid says.

The energy provider said Friday's lack of coal usage was a "watershed" moment.

The UK's longest continuous energy period without coal until now was 19 hours - first achieved last May, and again on Thursday.

The government plans to phase out Britain's last plants by 2025 in order to cut carbon emissions.

Friday is thought to be the first time the nation has not used coal to generate electricity since the world's first centralised public coal-fired generator opened in 1882, at Holborn Viaduct in London.
