Another sighting of the tile pattern linoleum and green plant wallpaper design setting, here from Lib (Es) 02-45, 1977, thanks to bourschwa. I'm uncertain but suspect the name Hernán A. Mosquera at the bottom of the text is not meant as a photog. credit?

Further to the comments about John Marvin, possibly an aka for Hans Larsson | Rupert Daines, made earlier here:

The same rough/lumpy plaster wall, and the same red plastic chair with a white metal frame shown in the set of Tilly from Club International (UK) 04-05, 1975-05, photog. John Marvin, at Cream Cheese here, can also be seen in some pics. of Stella Headley, although she's a different model from Tilly. Stella's Penthouse (UK) set is credited to Peter Fortuna but in the table of contents is instead credited to Hans Larsson, and the similarity of settings would seem to support the idea of a linkage with Larsson | Daines.

So provisionally, Peter Fortuna may be another aka for Hans Larsson | Rupert Daines.

Time for a "loose" one?

Gillian Duxbury on the cover (only) of Mayfair 10-09, 1975-09, photog. unknown, scan thanks to member inversions. Note the blue plastic and metal sun-lounger. Also note the top (back) of the lounger seems to have been cropped and a colour used to fill the background--i.e. I think that explains why the exposed metal frame is missing from there but not in the pics. below.

When I first saw the Oui image it reminded me of the Mayfair Duxbury cover, so I was rather disappointed to realise they were different models, indeed even different sun-loungers & perhaps also locations. The tile-pattern linoleum and green plant design wallpaper can be seen once again with the following as-yet unidentified model, whose pics. perhaps date from the early-to-mid-1980s with mag. sets published in 1984, 1985 (x2), & 1988 ("late"-published). Unfortunately there are no photog. credits evident.

Shona's first mag. appearance seems to have dated from 1985: Fiesta 19-09, 1985-09 as Berni.

Also here from Big Ones International 03-04 as Shona McFarlane, plus a second, two-girl set with Lisa Phillips is also in the same setting--although the linoleum is the only original linking feature visible; perhaps the wallpaper had by then been changed?

What these various appearances suggest is that the tile-pattern linoleum setting was not only in use in the mid-to-late-1970s but seems to have remained in use until at least the mid-1980s.

Here I noted some possible connexions between the photog. names Adam Cole and Fanny.

One of those factors, a distinctive bed frame, can also be seen in the pics. of Dominique Rupret from Mayfair 12-11, 1977-11, photog. Ed Alexander. Note that although those Mayfair scans don't show the photog. credit I've seen a scan of the toc page which does.

That same bed frame reappears in the set of Helen in Knave 12-05, 1980-05, photog. Ed Alexander, see Cream Cheese here.

The background wall (or screens?) behind the bed frame changes but some of the different sets have very similar shiny/satiny bed covers & pillow cases... although that conceivably might just have been the then-current fashion?

So, is it possible that both Adam Cole and Fanny might be akas for Ed Alexander? For now that's only a maybe.

JLG Marketing Ltd = John Graham. He was good friends with Peter Flodqvist and Viv Thomas and all three had a fairly similar photographic style.

Earlier I listed a couple of akas for John Allum. I've now found what I suspect may be another of his akas: David Crosswaite.

David Crosswaite was regularly credited for pictorials in Fiesta, starting from 12-05, 1978-05. I'm currently aware of him also being credited with just two sets in Mayfair, one in 17-08, 1977-08 and the other in 22-04, 1987-04.

In Fiesta 13-12, 1979-12 there is a set of Sasha by David Crosswaite, see Cream Cheese here. Note the hay barn setting complete with ladder, saddle, and particularly the orange blanket with black and red stripes.

In Knave 12-01, 1980-01, there is a pictorial of Julia Perrin as Andrea by John Allum, taken in the very same hay barn setting with ladder, saddle, and the same orange blanket with black and red stripes, see Cream Cheese here.

So provisionally, David Crosswaite may be an aka for John Allum.

Regarding the theory that "Mario Costa" is supposed to be a pseudonym for Serge Jacques, I found this contradicting bit of evidence:

The guy in the pink shirt is supposed to be him. Despite the name, he's declared in the article to be Swedish.

I understand this portrait of Mario Costa can give rise to questions as well as arouse some skepticism about the mentioned Jacques' alias.
At least if we suppose that this Swedish photographer was more real than the fake portrait of "Sarah Joyce" published by Emmanuelle magazine was, or the disclosure of Brigitte Lahaie being "Fanny", for instance.

Nevertheless, strong evidences exist that Serge Jacques did use this alias of Mario Costa (or da Costa, or A. Costa), as shown below with some pictures credited to Mario Costa but that belong to well known pictorials shot by Jacques.

Another point is that "Mario Costa" is a very common Italian name (a late film director had that same name), so it is possible that, may be, Serge Jacques has chosen for another alias of him a name that was also the real name of another photographer. But in my opinion this is very doubtful, for two reasons:

- the Swedish M. Costa is described as a "star photographer", so this should have create obvious professional conflicts between Jacques and him,

- back in the 50's "Mario Costa" was credited as a photographer of Paris-Hollywood. Given the apparent age of the Swedish Costa, something here is not matching well.
