UK:1980s Sullivan photo sets - origin ?
Been following the excellent Whitehouse thread, and noticed Whitehouse 54 was being posted. Which was one of the first "hardcore" magazines I actually owned (got a mate at school to buy it). Was very excited to see "proper" b/g action (as my 14 year old eyes saw it).
Anyway, that magazine had a b/g set "Jack and Lottie" http://vintage-erotica-forum.com/sho...&postcount=408 which an eagle-eyed reader spotted as an excerpt from a real hardcore set for Private 49: http://vintage-erotica-forum.com/sho...3&postcount=24 Now quite aside from the girl, who is quite cute, the question is how did the pics from Private end up in Whitehouse ? Were they sold or stolen ? Did the photographer double dip (I would have thought they'd have some sort of exclusivity contract) ? If they were "stolen" were they simply repro'd from the actual mag, or were high quality prints obtained somehow ? In the excellent "Porn Gold" printed in the 80s, I vaguely recall some European outfits (CC, maybe Private) that had beefs with Sullivan producing softcore rips off using their titles. They tried to sue, but as their content was illegal under UK law, they had no standing in court.
