I love Jacqueline and always remember two incompatible pieces of trivia.
EDIT: 3 now...just remembered another...

She should have had 'points' or even residuals after making "The Deep"

Jacqueline was the sole reason that film had such an attendance in the cinema. Repeat visits on repeat visits, not for Nolte or Shaw...even the story, but for Jacqueline.
She said:

After filming The Deep (1977), all they talked about was my boobs for the next four years.
God, if I was going to do a picture like that, I'd have done it a lot sexier. That looked like two fried eggs on a platter.

She was paid a flat fee of $150-190 Thousand.Similar to Nick Nolte.
Robert Shaw ~ on the wave of post-Jaws fame ~ was paid
$1.6 - $2 million.
Shaw had residuals and points as well. But it was Jacqueline who brought the customers returning. And sold the later videos and DVDs.
Those figures were posted on IMDb years ago, all Robert Shaw and Nick Nolte references have now been bleached / removed from there. It came up on a Brit Film Forum by some "accountant nerd" , which is why they span the IMDb that I remembered and his more recent claims.

The other trivia, I've always remembered came from a 'Playboy' article.
It wasn't about Jacqueline, but disparagingly referred to her.
I think it was the first US insult about "Eurotrash", although, in my mind, the first time I read that term was in the 'Bonfire of the Vanities' book.

The 'Playboy' wizards may know the reference, I can't hope to get within years.
The writer's point was about the influx of "European Starlets" usurping home-grown talent. I remember he mentioned Faye Dunaway doing a nude scene in 'Bonnie and Clyde' and her career being over.... jeez
So Hollywood was importing European actresses and putting US girls out of work. Plus pix of the Euro actresses of course.
Jacqueline was referred to in passing, as an example of the low-handed behaviour of Agents and Managers from this side of the pond.
Agents/Managers do Showreels of their client. In the days that JB was being touted around the studios, these were 8/16mm films, basically audition tapes to save time.
The writer of that article, the point I've always remembered, said that Jacqueline Bisset submitted a "blue movie" as her showreel.To steal a march on her US competitors.

Load of toss ~imo.

It was a good excuse to show glimpses of hair in the late 60s,in 'Playboy', none of Jacqueline, to prove how "depraved" the new Hollywood intake was.

Peter Yates, a Brit Director, imported from the "Swinging England" hype, chose Jacqueline for "Bullit" alongside McQueen. He went against the 'normal' type of blonde-cheerleader, to cast an etheral beauty, dark haired, who managed to produce intelligence from her eyes and body language.
He was right.

One other trivia - makes 3 .......Jacqueline is still shorter than me, and at 5' 6" she towered over Sinatra when she ridiculed his 'pick-up' in some Hollywood Hotel where they have cottages..where Belushi died a decade or so later. Don't know the name and I can't reff that comment..

I do try, with me gossip to reff. The first is easy. The second needs help ~ it was Playboy ~ the third is just something that I remembered whilst posting.
