The overall objective would be to have a central location for these products with good quality being important. What say you?

I personally think it's a good idea to have dedicated content thread. Vintage Erotica Talk section suits just fine, imo. There aren't many loops available in the "digital domain" (for the moment, at least), so the combined picture / video thread will be good.

Regarding the Blue Vanities DVDs. Yeah, quality is not the greatest, but that's typical for other BV issues. Also, in this particular case of the TLI loops - BV DVD doesn't have the source info. They do with other loops (Golden Girls or Horny Honeys etc) but not with the TLI.

So the only way to confirm the TLI loop - is too look at the TLI catalogue picture and try to spot the similarities or some hint in the description of the video.

KATHLEEN - that's a bit confusing. The only Kathleen in your list is Kathleen Cameron (Bridgette Monet) and that's definitely not Bridgette.

The setting of the Bridget Monet movie matches catalog advertisements and the Lainie Hollister setting matches TLI slides. I don't recognize Kathleen.

Perhaps these are well know facts here, but I will share anyway

IMDB has some information regarding Larry Caye's filmography here and also model's list for each title. I don't know how accurate is their data, but it might be useful. There's date of filming too.

The good thing is that the list contains both TLI alias and common alias of the models.

There are 5 titles in total and I guess these VHS would be the best quality source of TLI loops. Julia Parton's TLI loop, for example, looks way better than BV loops that I posted earlier and might be originally coming from such VHS.

Here's the example of a short trivia for the first issue:

Thanks, Omnidirector! Since you mentioned the imdb page I thought some clarification would be in order since their listing for TLI tape #4 is incorrect. All the films listed there are video tape compilations available in VHS or Beta. That is they contain segments of various models from earlier 8mm films which were each originally dedicated to a single model. Also all the 8mm films which were sold were silent. Some of these were later offered on VHS or Beta video tape with music overdubbed and the video tape compilations also had music added. The later films which were only offered on video tape had the models talking.

Now a word about TLI tape #4 of which there are actually two different versions, both being compilations. The original version was first offered in the 1986 catalog and was advertised with a run time of 55 minutes. The segments were Tracy Lords, Kimberly Brandon, Lainie Hollister, Haley Jennings, Jessica Hale, Jessica's (Hale) Hottest Scene, Cara Lott, Veronica Teal, Lila Tennyson, and Brenda Vaughn. After news of the Traci Lords scandal broke a different version was edited and this is the version which was subsequently sold. This version was advertised to run 1 hour and the segments in this second version were Jacqueline Lorians, Kimberly Brandon, Lainie Hollister, Haley Jennings, Jessica Hale, Jessica's (Hale) Hottest Scene, Cara Lott, and Veronica Teal.
