Somewhere in this thread is an Interview with Colleen / Sharon
- by journo Sarah Breslin (Sexcetera at one time... I think)
I think it came from Issue One of 'Gent' or similar.

My titbit is that Sharon / Colleen got through the easy and the heavy pressures of the Industry.Amazing.
She enjoyed her life, saved her dosh and settled with a partner for over 20 years and two Grandchildren.

I can think of only THREE other women who came through this rough industry with LESS abuse.
Mary Mendum / Kay Parker / USCHI

All were 'Happy-to-Perform-and-Act'... like Sharon... none were thugged nor threatened.
I doubt Sharon / Colleen sailed through her adventures unscathed... but she came out the other side and had a "normalcy" life.
Stripper / Prostitute / Sexploitation / Return as Porno... she explained to Breslin, and it made sense... a SAD SENSE.

But she survived

$800 a day she said to Sarah, as Colleen (HC) ~ which she equalised out as $350,00K a year in the 80s,.... in current terms..she would know

Sharron Survived the Industry. Two Grandkids . A long-life Partner.

And BLOODY HAPPY

What film is that close-up from? OMG. I want to be that guy.

Can't wait to listen to this. For years I thought she was Tom Waits' co-writer and partner, also named Colleen Brennan.

I met up through the Internet with an old boyfriend of Colleen's around 20 years ago. He told a nice story about her. He saw her stripping in Kentucky (pre-porn) and she took him home that night. She got up the next morning and asked if he could "help her out." It was only then that it dawned on him that he probably paid for sex. Despite this, they continued to get together regularly.

I had a conversation with Colleen some years later and she confirmed, even asking "How is Don?"
