The only place you can get real info on Donna Mae Brown is at the Yahoo Spiderpool Group: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/spiderpool/
This group is not about pictures and videos. They only use the material to obtain information about the model history and their locations.

I was asking if any current news were at present about Donna Mae and her name. I had had been absent from the group in a couple of years and recently went back. I wanted to put it right.

BTW Donna was helping with her kids school PTA by 1964, when she was all of 32 y.o., so I hope she had severed those mob ties by then. If not, they might have had some interesting fundraisers!

OB has informed me that his efforts related to Busty Brown have paid off, and that I should go ahead and post what we know about her to this point. Most of it has been posted before, so I'm not going to bother, for reasons that will become clear.
I often feel like the strict schoolmaster who insists on proof of everything, sometimes to the point of being a real pain. In this case, my disdain for the rumors about Busty Brown's ancestry led me to do some genealogical investigation, hampered by the fact that "Busty" probably wasn't going to show up on her birth certificate. But a fact here, a tidbit there, kept the project going until some potentially useful information popped up. At that point I asked OB to apply his superior savvy to the problem, and it's to him that we owe tonight's discovery.
1) We (the Spiderpoool Research Group) is in touch with members of Busty's family.
2) Most importantly, she's alive and well.
We hope OB will be able to gain the trust of the family and be put in touch with Donna. And that, fellow Poolies, is as good as it gets. Until then, you know all we know. Assuming direct contact comes to pass, *then* we'll have a Donna Brown timeline that's worth posting.

Donna Brown is surprised that she still has a following. She was almost completely unaware of the continuing interest in her. She expresses her appreciation to her fans but says that her modeling career was fifty years ago. Her life has moved into new areas and she has no desire to dwell on or discuss the past.
That said, we have gleaned a few facts.
She was born Donna May Brown in California and is now in her seventies. She lives under her married name. She has never called herself anything other than Donna May. She has been married twice and has three children. Neither of her husbands was Andy Anderson and she did not own a part of the Anderson Photo Agency. She is not related to Gloria Talbot. Her stage name, Busty, was chosen for her and she has never liked it. She is soft spoken and modest almost to the point of shyness. She seems the exact opposite of the brassy outgoing persona she presents in her photographs.
I think that may be all we are going to find out; at least for the foreseeable future.

I am surprised that there is not more of Donna Brown on VEF. Maybe there is another thread somewhere and I haven't found it yet.

There is 90 seconds or so at the start of this clip of Donna with short blond hair. I really liked this look on her, has anyone else ever seen a full version of this clip or other loops where she had the shorter blond hair ?

In the Exercise for Busty clip when she was younger, her hair is blond and longer but pinned up at the back. In this clip she is a bit older, there hair is also pinned a bit at the back but you can tell it is shorter.
