It did the same thing yesterday about this time, but then it cleared up. I think it may be a peak upload time is straining the servers.

Imagebam has been showing clear signs of stress for weeks
database cant be connected to or server numbers blinking / still loading

No substitute for sharing it around and diversifying

Plenty of my small sample gallery image posts from 5-10 years ago are like swiss cheese on the forum but the original 3rd party source links and few remaining filehosts links
are still alive.

I have compiled some statistics for the three moslty used hosts. The data is taken from my forum-backup.

The data is not absolutely correct, so take it with a grain of salt. For Example the post date is not necessarily the date of the image upload. Forum-backup does not parse post update dates yet. The posts are mostly taken from Magazine and Classic Pornstars sections.

Usage of image hosts (number of images) per year (post date)

Image download success rate for posts by year (post date)

Image download success rate for posts in 2017 (post date)

Success rate of the second download if the first download failed:

imagebam.com 3.61%

imagevenue.com 9.69%

imgbox.com 2.40%

What I have observed is that image download fails are often clustered. There are posts with dozens of images where most of the images have failed an posts where all images succeeded.

It's been giving me trouble for the last 2 or 3 days, I can log in just fine, look at my folders, change folders, select images to upload, everything fine. But when the upload starts, it sends me back to the home page, logged off, and images weren't uploaded.
Tried it on the Flash uploader and on the basic (i.e. no-Flash) uploader, no luck.

What's with theses pop ups saying 'Pop' asking you to click 'OK'? I never click pop ups like that unless I know what it means & is ot safe for my computer. Does anyone know?

Not a problem as such, but I have added some pics recently and the P&H thumbs are now much larger than before. I have checked the box for the smallest size, but they do seem quite big. I added some to an old post and the size difference is quite noticable compared to the earlier added pics.
I have deleted them and then re added, but it's still the same. I assume as no Mod has said anything that this is now the new 'norm' ? Just checking, as I know over the past few months, odd things have been going on with a few Hosts

The maximum image size permitted at VEF is now 200 x 200 pixels, so select the "Mini 180" option when using P&H.

Yes, that's what I have done, the 180. I was just wondering if it was too big, but if as you say, the max is now 200, then it's fine.
