You can still mess up a modern computer by subjecting it to rapid ambient temperature change while trying to operate it.

But they can take a lot more than they used to.

It's finally cooler now, but there is VERY heavy cloud cover, and thunder and rain. It's so dark I woke up at 7AM and thought it was 4:30 in the morning.

Not much before 8AM now, and the streetlights are still on, it's so f***ing dark. I hope we don't have a tornado or something.

I'd rather have 80s and low humidity, thank you. If every day was like last Friday, I'd melt like the Wicked Witch of the West before too long.

It's much cooler today, only 68 degrees this morning, and no humidity. Sweet.

Yesterday a huge front came through. It was so black in the west it looked like something out of a movie. As it got closer you could see blue sky in the east but almost overhead it was swirling greenish-black clouds and the streetlights came on like it was dusk. At eleven in the morning.
