SYDNEY co-captain Dane Rampe has been fined for his controversial comments towards umpire Jacob Mollison during Friday night's narrow win over Essendon.

Rampe has been fined $10,000 by the AFL after telling Mollison he "talks like a little girl", having conceded a holding the ball free kick during the second quarter.

After so many years when it wasnt ever used and eventually abandoned
its somehow found its wayback - for what reasons i cant quite fathom

Would be far easier to use the rookie list wisely or expand the clubs overall list
At least these players would know the game plan and have the right level of fitness
to fit in straight away.

A player coming from a state league only has to up his level by about 40% to be useful

They've sacked umpteen coaches since Parkin finished in 2000

The 2 legendary coaches in Pagan & Malthouse did worse than the guys they replaced
Speaks volumes

Turned over their list umpteen times

Might be the problem part of the club is actually higher up than the players & coaches

We saw Melbourne waste years of top 10 picks and it wasnt until they cleared everyone out
top to bottom that they actually started being competitive again
