Don't know if anyone else wants to pick up on this idea? Over the years I must have had more happy endings over this set (from a magazine called "Heat") than any other. Could be the girl's hair, the look on her face, the unusual conically shaped tits (once had the pleasure of a Thai bar girl with similar ones, but that's another story) or that it was one of the first sets I had showing full-frontal pubic hair. But I think it's actually about the setting or context. Back in the very early Seventies the very few magazines I had were usually rather corny, with stuff like "The Hon Jocasta Symington-Smythe was alone at the stables, and as it was such a hot day she decided to take her clothes off. Luckily for us, our cameraman just happened to be passing by, and managed to get these super shots off before he was discovered!" Even in those more innocent times, that kind of thing all seemed rather silly. Also had one or two of those Harrison Marks booklets, which again were OK but rather tame and had that pretence that they were really some kind of art or photographic study; some even had the camera setting with each photo, eg “1/125th at f.60.” In contrast, this has no silly captions and "Mandy" here is simply and explicitly offering up her body for sexual gratification, knowing men (and maybe even women) will masturbate over her, all of which at about 15 years old I found refreshingly honest and irresistibly erotic. Particularly love the one where she's leaning on the table, looking over her shoulder at me waiting for me to pull those skimpy pants down. In short then, I guess this set marked the transition for me from Sixties cheesecake (which still charms sometimes) to proper upfront erotica as we know it now.
