Interesting guy - in 1971 he was in a freak accident he fell from a ski lift and was pierced through the heart with a ski pole. He was actually pronounced dead upon arrival at a hospital but a doctor found signs of life rushed him into surgery where they fixed his heart. Two of his bigger roles were the made-for-TV movie Killdozer! and The Dirty Dozen. His final role was the voice of Nick Nitro in Small Soldiers.

Glenn Snoddy
Glenn Snoddy May 4, 1922 - May 21, 2018 Recording Engineer Accidental Inventor of the Fuzz Tone https://www.nytimes.com/2018/05/25/o...tone-dies.html https://www.billboard.com/articles/n...-pedal-dies-96 “A malfunction in the console through which the playing of the electric bass by guitarist Grady Martin was being transmitted caused the original fuzz-tone effect, … The low, reverberant sound produced by Grady Martin’s bass on Marty Robbins’ ‘Don’t Worry’ …, was reminiscent of a rumbling car muffler… Overriding the objections of Grady Martin, who felt that another take was needed to fix what he considered an unwelcome sonic intrusion, Glenn Snoddy and Don Law, the session’s producer, believed they had a unique sound on their hands and decided to leave their putatively flawed recording intact.” -New York Times
