A beautiful September morning in my town. From where I live,to go to the beach, using Shank's pony it takes around 15 minutes.
The housing estate in the pic is called "The Potato Field",but it´s not where I live Also, the local cricketteam in action. Not a big sport in Sweden, but some enthusiasts from Pakistan,Nepal,India and the Uk do battle with teams from Copenhagen. |

All from yesterday
Bought myself some new camera kit, this Olympus plus another micro four thirds lens and I am watching some used lenses on the bay of E. If I get on with it I will sell on my bulky Canon EOS kit.
I went off on my own into Coventry yesterday and took a selection of images in the most historic area around the blitzed Cathedral, trying a number of in-camera effects and changes of aperture and shutter speed Last edited by risen; October 16th, 2017 at 04:11 PM.. |

Out and about again this morning around my manor so a few local shots taken with the Samsung phone.
First one, a junction that has a long history of collisions this being the result of the latest. The through road has a 30 mph limit but the average speed is clearly much higher and the other road is badly sighted by parked cars. Only a few months since the last repair. This is the locally well known Coat Of Arms Bridge from both sides. Railway is from Coventry to Leamington Spa via Kenilworth. Different coat of arms each side reflects the two families who sold the land to the railway company. But for the modern security fence it looks little different to old photos from over a hundred years ago. And here is the old blacksmiths and farriers forge and dwelling. Old pics show a massive heap of old horse shoes on the other side of what was then a dusty track. The last three are little over a mile from Coventry's notorious ring road yet it looks so rural. The city is always a surprise to first time visitors. Last edited by risen; October 22nd, 2017 at 09:42 PM.. |

Out and about around L’Eree Bay on Wednesday. It was very windy, the fast ferries were cancelled and one then went ‘technical’ in St Malo and there were no planes into Alderney. We got our eyes badly sandblasted at Richmond kiosk when we stopped for coffee and retreated to the car.
It’s a lot calmer today and we will be heading out again soon. |

I took a ride for spring water bottles filling and buying some honey through old russian villages and enjoyed beautiful scenery and nature...
