Duplicate post that isn't there.

Hello,

I posted a reply to the game of thrones thread. http://vintage-erotica-forum.com/t16...spoilers-.html
The posting took a long time and then replied that this was a duplicate from a post within the last 5 minutes. However, there is nothing from me in this thread. Strangely enough, when I look at my statistics, the post is there, but when I click on it, it goes to the first post in the thread, and my reply isn't present.

I waited more than 5 minutes to try again. I still received the duplicate message notification (after a long wait) and now I have two replies in my statistics that go nowhere, and still nothing in the actual thread.

We had a temporary sync glitch that resulted in what we call a "ghost post". I fixed the issue and your post is showing now.

This may have just happened to me as well. It says I posted at 10:00 AM a reply in the James Bond discussion thread, which I posted in yesterday. However, I can't see the post, even though it has a link number. Do you see it? It's not urgent, I can try reposting later. But I'm curious as to the cause.

EDIT: it shows up on my page but I still can't see it in the thread.



EDIT 2: My 10:00 AM post shows up now. However it didn't until I replied again just now, so that's why there are two replies from me to the same post. I think the problem may have been caused by my editing and resubmitting the original post.

This just happened to me as well. I posted in the Julianna Young thread. I can see it by way of User CP or by checking her thread, but it does not show up as a new post in the Softcore Models forum.

An FYI, I posted in the Militant Islam thread and it doubled the post.

I reported the post and it tried to double the report.

*Of course, now I post this and it works fine.
