Things You`d Save From The Flames !
Picture it brothers the deafening wail of the siren , those watering eyes , a feeling of being completely trapped and about to die !
No it`s not your partner`s time of the month again, it`s a f##king fire !!! I know who`d have thought getting completely pissed and then trying to open that petrol can with a blow torch would have led to so much trouble Ok so it`s getting hot hot hot What do you do I mean apart from first throw said partner out the window, to help break your fall should you decided not to take the stairs What would you save For starters i`d save 1) My Cat (Otherwise i`d never hear the end of it ) 2) My Amazing Spiderman No 14 ( Oh and it`s in a key less safety deposit box really, but is in the flat for the purposes of this thread so don`t try and burgle me , no wait a second yeah just try it , i dare ya ) 3) My samurai Somen helmet circa 1850 (Otherwise i`d have gone to smuggling it out of that country for nothing ) So there`s a quick three , what about you say me ?

1. My copy of 'The Restaurant at the End of the Universe' signed by Douglas Adams.
2. My laptop. I would say my desktop but it needs a safecracker to get it off the desk. 3. The hard drive off my 360. Our cat would already be outside burying the matches it used. Cheers, Dumbassgo.

My ass. Everything else is just stuff. I'd be upset, but I'd be alive to be upset.

The scenario I envision for myself would involve lots of alcohol, me passed out on the couch, my well thought out and nutritious late night snack aflame on the stove as I forgot to turn off all 4 burners and left a pot of boiling grease next to the paper towels and lighter fluid. Leo the Wonder Dog would alert me from my drunken stupor by either barking or humping my leg as he has been known to do on occassion. Usually when I'm drunk so he can take advantage of me. He's such a slut. Anyways, Leo would lead me to the rescue so he's not included in things to grab. I would certainly alert the lovely and charming Ms. Riff if she were staying at my place that night and advise her to run for safety but not before she grabs some of her own crap because there is no way in hell I am going for the mammoth shoe collection that is in my spare closet. That's her responsibility....along with some pots and pans so she can cook me something that night while we watch the place burn to the ground. So back to things to save from the flames. I think I'm trying to get all of my music collection. I have a few semi-valuable books and baseball cards that might make the cut. Some military medals and coins that my Grandfather willed to me but that's about it. I don't really collect too much and am not all that sentimental. As long as Leo made it out I would be happy Oh and Ms. Riff too.....at least some of the time.
