Well I have to admit that I am fing ecstatic! As I said in my earlier post, the whole thing stank, I am unhappy at the actions of WADA, the fact that this became public in the first place, and equally disgusted with the behaviour of some retired riders, who at best are total hypocrites, coming from the time when doping in the paeloton was normal.

On the other side, the modern riders, with very few exceptions have shown beyond doubt that they did not believe the charge in the first place.

Sadly a truly great champions reputation is and will remain for ever damaged. Win the Tour Chris, just to rub it in!

I was happily surprised when i read that news today. After a week the chances of finding them alive became pretty small, after all.

It's not easy for the press too, they have been tricked in the past as well. They are the ones having reported the 'heroic' deeds of people like Armstrong, only to find out later it wasn't legit.

Indirectly the commentors' reputation has been damaged too, and i notice that they have become more careful in their wording because of all of this.

I accept what you say, but through out this saga, the BBC have been making comments about the allegation, in the reporting of the Giro for example, every report would contain a paragraph about the allegations, the great stage, possibly the greatest stage win of this era, was accompanied with three different comments about the allegations, and it got sickening to be honest.
