I tend to agree with Richard1968, I don't think anyone was underrated but some were brought to the forefront more than others. Back in the 80's, there was always some new next big star being rolled out every couple of months. There were however, many minor - but still great - performers who lasted for only a handful of movies. (Inez Acker is a perfect example) There are many of these during the golden era but they get somewhat consigned to the footnotes of history. I try to sometimes dust out the cobwebs of my mind and give them some attention in this forum if I can.

Hillary Summers - Face like an angel; made a scene with Jake Teague (of all people!) sexy in The Budding Brie

Melissa Melendez- with more films like Dr. Penetration, she'd have been a superstar

Rene Bond - nice eyes; always seemed to be having a great time; lots of energy

Dianne Dale - Little Me and Marla Strangelove seems to have been her only film, but she's gorgeous and goes full-tilt. Looks as if they filmed that when she was eighteen and a day
