Today's plastic products.

I recently bought a plastic lunch box for food and vegetables, which I keep in the fridge. However, the cover is already cracked. I was like WTF, What happens with these things !?!

I still have an old plastic box from 1997, Yes 20 years old, which is in excellent condition. But I wanted to buy a new one, because this is still the old. Whatever, my old plastic box will serve me another 20 years...

True, very true. I have also returned to some older Tupperware boxes that I stored away for the same reason. I bought about 4 plastic food containers to store cooked chicken and veg in the fridge. yet after using them a couple of times I find the lids don't close properly and they are slightly distorted. Whats the point of saying suitable for fridge and even freezer is a little cold air warps the lids after a couple of uses?

I used to buy the fairly expensive ones, Rubbermaid or Tupperware, but it broke my heart when they finally defected out. Now I buy the dirt cheap Glad or Ziploc ones, and live with the expectation of having to replace them after a dozen uses or so.

It's a damn shame that most consumer goods are just shite these days.

I don't know and cannot say from personal experience, but I'll bet that $50 hookers are now charging $100 these days, and you can bet that they don't fcuk or suck the Johnson any better then when they were charging $50!
