Default Pigs, cows and chicken still suffer due to lack of ingenuity. :(

How many innocent animals would have been saved or had a nice life, if old omnivorous dinosaurs like some members of this forum, would have eaten good vegan meals?

If you are referring to me, you can keep your vegan crap. I love meat, and so does 75% of the rest of the population of the world. Vegan restaurants are always trying to open in my neighborhood, and they go out of business in just a few months. Most people love some kind of meat. I like veggies just as much as any other person, but I could never just eat only them!

Then again, the vast majority of farmed animals would never have existed at all. Many other species would have to be culled to keep the numbers down or prevent danger to humans.

No absolutely perfect situation. All species are to some extent in competition with each other.

That's absolutely not against you, but about the certainty I've, that a lot of traditionnal meat eaters probably ate bad cooked vegan meals.
It was my case. The first time I ate tofu, it was cut in small cube and grilled.
A pure SHIT.

I understand that you love the taste of meat, I loved that too... but I believe that you surely would love some good prepared vegan meals prepare by good cooks.

My 80 years old uncle, who was used to taunt me about my vegan meals, ate at home during two days some vegan delicatessen and my delicious tofu and vegan spring rolls.

He told me that was really good and served himself a second time some vegan meal in his plate.

On holiday recently my wife and I found a vegan restaurant that was so good, we ate in there every day just because we were desperate to try everything. Their breakfast (which included tofu) was the best meal I've ever had

Question Farm animals conditions must be improved!!!

Would you prefer to never exist or to miserably live in concentration camp?

If at least all the farmed animals would be really fairly treated during their life, I'd be less militant.
But on last week, I've seen pictures of a pig farm considered as standard in Switzerland. (A country considered as one of the most careful European country about good treatments on farm animals.) IMO, it was a pure scandal.

I fully admit that I'd prefer to die thanks to a bullet in my head like farmed animals instead to rot gnawed by a cancer in a hospital bed.

We already discussed about this together.
You could agree that I'm relatively well "thinking"... not a fanatic.

But at least, we must really improve the conditions of life of farmed animals. Isn't it?
.

Angry Another hot day

Another company (Boots) that makes a fortune out of this island , pays a derisory amount of tax (Unlike the rest of us).
Yet what do they spend their virtually tax exempt tens of billions of profits on

Not a functioning air conditioning system for customers that`s for sure

I`m telling you Fellow Forum Fella`s it was actually hotter inside the Chemists than outside in full view of Mr Sunshine

Only they care not. If they can get away with it they will.
Struck lucky here, as we let such sods get away with everything.

Even more annoying is knowing the majority of this overpriced stuff won't be sold.
But will be crushed , bleached and binned.

Meanwhile soup kitchens for the homeless (England`s biggest growth industry) are desperately struggling for food donations

Absolutely. I would advocate the highest possible ethical standards in farming - as you say, we have discussed that before elsewhere.

Nothing British about Boots, the shop chain belongs to a US company, drugs manufacturing went to BASF and Reckitt Benkiser and the cosmetics side has just gone to a French company.I think Glaxo and Hoechst were in there at some point.
It's as British as BP.

Never said it was British philll

Did used to be though didn't it back in the day

Either way , is draining money from us and flicking back a pittance to the treasury.
Like all the billions profits high street chains , conglomerates do and are.
Meanwhile we're taxed six ways till Sunday.
VAT
That along with true autonomy is why I want the country to be released from the EU. As while we remain trapped by the one sided "Free" market custom "agreement" most every basic thing we buy is artificially inflated in price . To subsidize the failing industries of twenty seven other nations. Yet as each week passes and our clueless politicians behave so cravenly during these so called negotiations. I start to strongly doubt they`ll be a separation in any way shape of form as was promised
Whoops , all the same
Don't want this thread to get bogged down with politics given there are so many political threads where matters like that can be discussed.

Instead I`ll rant-a-rooney over this

Constant use it claims

Wasn't in use when I took the snaps was it

Exactly

Hate liars
