All the yoof vote complaining they're not part of the EU anymore due to oldies voting out want to consider themselves lucky they're not Greek .

Oh for the chance of being out of the EU and away from Germany's clutches would be the call then .

One thing that's become clear this last few days is there's one heck of a lot of people including the yoof in this country who have absolutely no backbone

There wont be a second EU referendum, and personally I would never want one. England and Wales have made their decision and that is an end to the matter, but as someone who actively wants to see the collapse of the UK and for Scotland to gain their independence I am absolutely loving this weekend.
The few Scottish friends I have that voted to remain part of the UK, want to leave as soon as possible. They tell me all of their friends want out too.
Something incredibly good and positive can come from this referendum of negativity. The end of the most unjust and one sided union of all - The UK.

In the next few years Scotland will leave the UK,and gain their freedom. It might even in the future lead to the reunification of Ireland, and the English can finally get the little England of their dreams free of all those awful foreigners!

This History. This is wonderful!
I really enjoyed reading your post......and the punchline was seeing you live in Canada.......congrats on being the Sean Connery of VEF

I am mildly surprised that Mrs Palin knows that we exist. Less surprised that she thinks that the United Nations has shackled the USA; I imagine she saw Red Dawn and thinks it is documentary realism.

So Mrs Palin approves of us. Ah well, can't win 'em all.

What would be even funnier is if Sean Connery moved back to Scotland inspite everything he has said about Scottish independence... Now that would be the day...

Now that the vote is over, I think that even the leave people did not expect the voters would vote to exit the EU. I have talked with a number of people around my neighborhood who are from the UK or have friends or relatives that still live there, no one is really surprised that the vote to leave was a success. A lot of people got tired of the EU meddling in the UK's affairs... It's been a interesting turn of events many people were not expecting.

But that election is only about which pox-brained idiot will sit in the Oval Office for four years. This vote decides the future for a lot longer than four years.

The latest development is that Gibraltar & Scotland are musing over the possibility of remaining in the UK/EU, maybe with Northern Ireland, and England & Wales becoming autonomous provinces of the UK outside the EU, like Greenland is in respect to Denmark.

This is turning into a fiasco. No one seems to know for sure what 'Leave' meant on the ballot paper.
