WELCOME Scoundrel
[QUOTE=scoundrel;965749]I support Leeds United, which has given me some experience of how high and how low you can go when following your team. Relegation to League One (bullshit alert, its League Division Three with a fancy name)
Hi Scoundrel and Welcome! .....Very interesting comments and enjoyed reading them. As a Nottingham Forest supporter all my life and watching them win the European Cup twice, it was heartbreaking for me to see my team drop down the leagues into Division 3 (as you say, lol) and its bloody hard to get back up again (as Leeds are finding). The teams that are deducted points (unless some mystery benefactor comes along?) look doomed to lower league status for years to come. A supporter of any team needs some kind of 'hope' that they will be the Premier League Champions one day in their lifetime. I fear for the future of the clubs deducted points in the current financial climate and within the next few years predict a complete 're-structure' of the leagues based on maybe the clubs geographical position in the country or their fan base. Still, on the brighter side ..... let's hope that Leeds United and Forest get promoted this season ..... Leeds easy! .... Forest, well, .... lets see? Keep sending your views and thanks again. |

Well another Saturday, and a typical shite SAFC performance, score first, then fold faster than Superman on laundry day.
Still, least the Mags got beat as well! |

Come on Wibble ...... stop bloody bothering what Newcastle are doing! You're still in the Premiership and there's only 19 other teams can say that. Now get your 'Superman outfit on and get down the shop and buy yourself a few cans and a curry! At least you had a game .... Forest were knocked out 3rd Round (as normal!) ..... thanks for your post mate ............. keep yer chin up!

Okay.........
Lets start with my boys, 4-0 win against Hull today, but at 1-0 it could have gone either way. Rooney grabbed all four................... now the bad news, seems Real Madrid want him and when Madrid wants Madrid gets, add our financial troubles and its a scary scenario. Utd fans now actively demonstrating, and showing a united front against the Glazers, two years too late imo. Seems hard times are common with clubs now, Utd, Liverpool, Portsmouth, Notts County, Rangers to name just a few. Guess we are all jealous of Chelski and City. FA Cup day today, cracking game at Spurs, well done to Leeds (though they buggered my fixed odds coupon up), Reading beat another Premier League team. Have never understood why teams like them perform so well in the cup yet arent doing the business in their own leagues. Leeds havent won since beating United, will the cup run ruin their promotion chances? P.S. Gary Neville now gone from United Legend to God |

Well thanks for your interest Inglorious (about the only one who has!) .... bloody hell! you are a "Super Moderator!" ... how did you get to that lofty position? Think YOU are a God, not Mr. Neville. YES, good result for Man Utd no doubt ... but, as you say, a little worrying if a certain Mr. Rooney goes AWOL. Just can't see him on Spanish T.V. giving his comments after the match though .... mmmm! wonder what a Spanish Scouser sounds like?
BUT ....... be aware! ..... very aware!!! .... Think Billy Davies at Forest might put a bid in for him? ............ YEAH! thought so .... you're worried now!!!! Knowing my luck, we'll end up with ROBINHO! |

Stoke have knocked Arse an all out of the FA cup by winning 3-1. LOL! Stoke, a team who always have several British players on the field have knocked out a team who often have no British players on the field. Would any other country allow clubs to field teams with no indiginous players?

I had to google who the hell SAFC were for fear of embarrassing myself if I asked on here. I thought Sunderland was just Sunderland Football Club. Is this correct or am I missing something?
