That IS Joan Severance. According to her official website, she was the model in the H&M ad campaign.

Im a huge fan of hers, and although the pics are poorly edited I believe that is Joan. I never understood why she wasn't more famous or lusted for.

I stand corrected. As I mentioned, my memory is a bit rusty. The only thing I got right was that the advert was for H&M . My apologies for all the fuzz.

Oh, she was. She was just BEFORE the super model craze of the mid '80s.
She did tons of stuff with Jerry Hall, and Rene Russo, and even Gia Carangi. but all that was before the digital photo age. As I understand it, her career was really hampered by her attitude. apparently, Joan had a very diva attitude towards the crews which did her no favors. (Think Linda and Naomi, both of whom had horrid diva reputations, only 5-10 years earlier).
