Good start of Paris 4 1 against Kiev, 4 goals scored by the recruits Ibra, Alex Pastore and Thiago Silva.Landing for Montpellier logically beaten by Arsenal.

I feel sorry for Man City losing to Real after leading with only about 4 minutes of normal time remaining.

Er ...... no, not really!

Poor City, it was possible to win in Bernabéu for them. Real with a sluggish start this season.
For BVB a drawn would have been the best.
The group of four national champions from top-leagues, or better the group of death.

Does seem harsh when other groups contain also rans from national leagues. Makes you wonder why they call it the Champons League.

From the Urban Dictionary:

Champon (noun)
A drink. Prepared by taking a freshly opened bottle of champagne and having a woman slid the top of the bottle in and out of her vagina before pouring it into glasses to serve. There are both white and red Champons, depending on the time of the month for the woman servicing the bottles.

ex. "We toasted the New Year with Champons prepared by our hostess."

Now we've got the Champions (competition with 3 teams that are not champions, in some countries) League out of the way. It's onto the 'serious' stuff???? The Wankropa league. Off to watch SS Lazio (sounds link a sinking ship to me), tomorrow night. BUT WAIT a minute.... Don't the winners of the Wankropa League usually WIN the Supercup?????
Sepp Blatter must hate that. So hopefully I'll be off to watch AVB and my lot WIN it next year in Monaco????? Perhaps against CFR Cluj.
Bitter about not being in the Champions League??? Moi???

Think I'm "Out of Touch" Footstep (me old mate) ... To be honest I'd NEVER even heard of BATE BORISOV?

Celtic 0 - Benfica 0

I was a little bit down when I came back from the game last night, and couldn't really be arsed to analyse the game properly. Having had time to mull it over, maybe a point ain't too bad.

We had the bulk of possession but were unable to turn that into goals. Neither side really managed to create much in the way of chances, in a game that had plenty more graft than craft. Not to mention a good few meaty tussles.

Still, we had only one player - Captain Scotty Brown - who had played in the CL before. And as we're the pot four team, maybe all we can expect is to show people that we are a decent side.

To have any real hope of progression in the tournament you have to win your home games, particularly as our next guests are Barca. Ho hum.

It never helps when four or five of your first eleven are out injured but that's life, or so they say. We lost our way for a couple of seasons, so maybe the best we can hope for is third.

Oh, by the way; has anyone ever seen one of those goal-line officials do ANYTHING ? Even when a player is tripped three yards in front of them, they still have the Wenger goggles on.

Continuation and end of the europa league last night, finally a correct output for the 3 Frenchies Lyon in the second half time 2 1, 2 0 led Marseille to return to 2 2 to the 94th, and Bordeaux 4 0 without a problem. Few players this week for VEF predictions football pool (yet known in the world ..), I invite everyone to rub the terrors that make cry every week bookmakers! here:http://www.vintage-erotica-forum.com...&postcount=894

Celtic is reputed here, even the deceased Rangers, despite limited financial resources have the heart and marrow; Benfica is a great in Europe, but the Celtic C1 winner in 1967 is also one.I think it's a good result, the Portuguese are never easy to beat.
