This album is really carved in stone
Celebrations by Motörhead Window to the parallel world... ...and back Masterstroke from Ken Kelly to Manowar (cover is cut - my scanner is small) Last edited by mamlassus; January 1st, 2022 at 08:57 AM.. |

British band, Venom, was known as a forefathers of black-metal and such sayings as: "We drink priests vomit" "Venom never plays as a support act". There`s no contradiction for first one but second is big, pure lie. Venom supported Foster Edwards orchestra, band well known trashing their instruments middle of the gig, some people injured seriously when they started stagediving and they dropped big turds on stage. They were so hardcore that even GG Allin ran scared away from one of their gig. Here`s cover from their progressive years, album that The Who rudely ripped off later:
And here`s that cheap imitation, "classic" maybe, but The Who trashed their instrument at the end of the gig NOT in the middle, well how rock`n`roll is that? Poor show!

Just few dull "jokes" more and I`m off here. Please friends keep this thread alive, I have enjoyed a lot to post into this thread, started by Greenskull. Net is full of scans of ridiculous and weird LP-covers. Maybe most popular sites offer pretty much similar stuff as posted here but if you dig deeper you could find very freaky stuff!!!
Even Poland at 80`s was full of Hollywood propaganda: "In space no-one can hear your scream" or something like that: I admit, off-topic, that was movie poster, but there`s no cool record-cover for that movie, where they yell "Let`s get hell out of here!!!" about 41 times. But here`s a recorded evidence that your scream could be heared very well and and someone even composed music in space: These two are "just" all-time hits, regular stuff at your nearest Spermarket: Here`s some weirdness from Finland: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4R-tTAoROCA Gregorius sings "Y M C A" in finnish tv: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QWB2e75BQuw

I`m preparing to "Weird or amusing album covers"-thread revival by re-posting this horrible Swedish Christmas-record:
You know why? It`s bloody TOY-guitar that guy is holding! Why? For sexual magnetism, macho-thing, he looks much bigger! "Just look that hairy chest! Of course It`s done by purpose!" Or maybe It`s Lo-Fi garagerock- record.

Time to get some life into this thread, this is a special one. So special, that you actually have to hear it. It´s totally hardcore, so much sugar and kindness that you could clear whole army of annoying gangsta-rappers and Nietzsche-reading, serious death-metalists with this, easily. It´s a vinyl-rip, so bit of crackling noise is just "cool".
My favourite is track called "Mellow mood for maidenhair" . "You don`t have to walk a begonia", is a ace tune too. http://www.4shared.com/file/95788360...b0/Plan10.html Last edited by Futuro; July 14th, 2009 at 11:38 AM.. Reason: Wrote "Nietzsche" properly! :) |

I , for one, would go see a folksinging
lycanthrope comedian in a heartbeat: Sadly, the LP isn't half as good as the cover.
