A few from 2001

Some of my images from an early 90s group shoot when I was learning how cameras worked. They have been recovered from fading negatives; I wouldn't normally consider all these to be of adequate quality to be worth printing (down to my own shortcomings, not those of the model I hasten to add) but they may be of historical interest to connoisseurs of the art.

For this month's group shoot, Pat had booked Debee for just a hour or so (the shoots normally ran 11-4) and only to topless, obviously (the normal level was UK magazine).

The sets at this studio (long defunct) were tatty and drab. This set in particular seems to be a poor choice for Debee, the pale yellow background clashing with her blonde hair and skin tone and the small space giving her little scope for posing. The one used in the Mel Penny set I posted recently would have been much better. Additionally, her popularity meant that I was competing with at least dozen other photographers and having to grab what shots I could. I eventually gave up and wandered off to shoot Millie Minchen on the other set where things were less frantic (I'll post those in the future).

However, at least I enjoyed the honour of seeing the lovely Debee topless in person.
