Attention: There is a prevalent email scam happening everywhere where the sender claims to have a password to a site and demands money in some form. Ignore it, do not respond and at most change passwords on any sites you frequent.

Effective immediately, moving or animated GIFs are not allowed in signatures. If your signature has one, please remove or replace it asap. Staff will remove them as and when we see them without notice.

Sincerest apologies to everyone for the recent blackout. VEF and several of our sister forums had a major server malfunction. The database index is being rebuilt from scratch and may take at least several days to be fully restored. Expect major weirdness and lots of glitches in the meantime. Thank you all for your patience and understanding.

Unfortunately it seems that all of the posts made from the 13th March until the crash are permanently lost, please feel free to re-post any such material, apologies for this.

I can only speak of the tremendous trouble the last year´s breakdown has been causing to the entire forum and forced uncountable members to re-host elsewhere. They gladly and thankfully did.

The fact that this particular site still causes troubles (see your own observations) would not make me re-consider a return to them. I was victim myself of uncountable posts being gone overnight. No more trust from me!

I just had more problems with the other hosts than with this one..
I always used imagebam for many years and that was the only big problem with that host in the last year..
I just not have problems with the advertising because I use the adblocks.
