you can't embed images which reside only on your local harddrive, internet doesn't work this way (and you should be happy that it is like that).

you have to upload the images to the internet first, for example to an imagefile host like http://www.imagevenue.com

width and height are no working options for IMG here. bbcode is not HTML with different brackets.

if something like this happens, you messed up the code for your images. allways copy and paste the complete code you receive from your image host. if you don't do this, some or single images are missing and/or aren't linked in the way it should be.

just paste the given code to your post, don't add it with the "Insert Image" option, then you won't have those obsolete code left and right of an image

+edit, as this seems to be quite a common source of unease among the less techy members

Generally, to get your pictures to where you want them, you want to look for a share icon and something that says BB-Code.
Share icons usually look like one of these, depending on the device and website you're using



the BB-Code (for Bulletin Board, the original version of forum like these) should give you a box with code in it - the code will look like something like this (that's the code for the pic above)

If there's an option for image size, make sure you tick one on or under 200 pixels, or you'll incur the wrath of the Mods fo oversized images

and remember, you can always go to the Test Forum - if you've got a new batch of pics to post, try it out there until you've got the hang of it, rather than going straight into the model's thread then having them end up in the Trash
