I don't mind if you want to post sweets here its all part of being a kid back then-sitting in front of the tv munching away on things to rot your teeth How about one that no one seems to remember called Double Agents-remember those sweets?

Great programe, Greenman!

I remember actually trying to do some of the things they demonstrated and winding up with a heap of junk, instead of whatever they'd made

Also, it's brought back memories of The Red Hand Gang - can't recall what it was actually about, apart from a gang of kids, with, err, red hands...

Also, on Saturday nights, a programe called 'Computer Kids', or something like that.

And, on some Saturday mornings, Jason of Star Command, which was strangely good.

Just a kid gang it was never explained why it was red hand.
I think we can expand on this thread to include sweets/chocolate, comics and toys. Should be interesting to see which way it goes.

Fantastic Rotobott I had forgotten about the badges-all I can remember was the dreadful flavours like Apple and Strawberry for 001? something else for 002 and orange was another-also there was a secret code that was concealed on the inside of the wrapper.

Here's another for you-Supermousse-a poorer tasting yet bigger version of Milky Way.

I don't think I'm as old as some of you, but I do remember watching Swap Shop and then it's replacement Saturday Superstore with Mike Read and Sarah Green.

On the other side was Number 73 and Get Stuffed. I also remember the cartoons before the Saturday lunchtime wresting which were Jabba Jaws and Mr T.

Other great kids progs from my era:

Chorlton & The Wheelies
Jamie And The Magic Torch
The Flumps
Sport Billy
Chocky (and the follow up series Chocky's Children & Chocky's Challenge)
Crackerjack with Stu Francis (ooh I could crush a grape)
Jossie's Giants

The schools programmes Look And Read also stick in the mind:

The Boy From Space
Fairground
Sky Hunter
Dark Towers
Badger Girl

Pipkins was a weird show, with that mangy, camp puppet Hartley Hare.

Here's a clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hMdBh09zP8U

Woohoo, comics included; thanks Greenman.

2000AD, I remember the biotronic stickers that I put on an arm and leg, the secret agent folder, the space spinner on Prog 1. Wizard with the free paper plane kit. Victor, Warlord, Beezer, Topper, Cor (with Gus the ape IIRC), Sparky, Whizzer and Chips, wasn't that with half the comic upside down? Starblazer, Commando, list is endless, Tiger, Roy Of The Rovers (8p in the late 70s) and then later Speed. I don't need to say too much about The Beano or Dandy, do I? Alan Class reprints.

I think this occurred when Whizzer and Chips was first merged with Krazy Comic so officianados of each could go straight to what they were looking for.
