With close to 500,000 members there are going to be many with varied interests and there for you get a lot of threads on different topics. When I joined I tried beginning porn star threads. Only my heart wasn't in it. Moved onto actress ones instead as realised there were several without their rightful threads, then moved into the zany random wonderfulness of GD/F.

A place 96 percent of the time I've remained ever since .

As much as I love the nude content on VEF, I would definitely stay if there was no porn on the Forum. Like many, I love the "Some pictures" thread and others in the General Discussion and Funnies section.

But I am grateful for the various threads throughout the forum, esp. featuring Kay Parker, Lisa Welch, Victoria Lynn Johnson, among others.

Porn isn't the reason why I'm still here. As a matter of fact, the only time when it was a reason is when I joined this place. I'm not a porn collector, so I'd definitely stay if VEF ceased to offer porn content. The GD&N section caught my attention right from the beginning. Being 'only' 30 I'm relatively young compared to the average VEF member. I happen to listen to older music or like classic movies. There is almost no one from my personal environment who shares the same taste in music. But many guys here grew up with that kind of music, so I have someone to talk. Some among those people have become my friends. That's at least how I relate to them. Of course, music and movies are not the only reasons for my stay. If you take a look at so many threads in the GD&N section, you will meet people with knowledge and various interests and hobbies. They are not your average porn hounds. VEF is a community for me. But I understand those who come only for the porn. This is a porn forum after all, no matter how 'sophisticated' compared to other porn forums. The community aspect is something that grew spontaneously and has become an important part of VEF. Some of us decided to become members, others to remain users and there's nothing wrong about that. Everyone should feel welcome here.

I originally showed up here for the classic and vintage celebrity content, mainly actors of the 30's-50's, and that dominates what I read, view and post. Only departure of any consequence into porn is one actress, long retired, that I followed when she was active many years ago, Kay Parker.

Simple answer-well look at my post count, if I didn't like it here I'd have gone ages ago-although I had days when I wanted to but some talked me out it-ah me public!

Seriously though, I've never really found porn that much of a turn-on, maybe for the first few minutes but after a time, like so-called adult films rated 18 I just wanted to shout out "get on with the film". To me sex in a film slows it down, unless of course it is integral to the plot. Porn here doesn't really interest me as there are very few beautiful porn stars and most have hideous tattoos these days and piercings which are a turn off.
