Attention: There is a prevalent email scam happening everywhere where the sender claims to have a password to a site and demands money in some form. Ignore it, do not respond and at most change passwords on any sites you frequent.

Sincerest apologies to everyone for the recent blackout. VEF and several of our sister forums had a major server malfunction. The database index is being rebuilt from scratch and may take at least several days to be fully restored. Expect major weirdness and lots of glitches in the meantime. Thank you all for your patience and understanding.

Unfortunately it seems that all of the posts made from the 13th March until the crash are permanently lost, please feel free to re-post any such material, apologies for this.

I'll start this thread for VEF style encounters or tales of Santa / St Nick / Father Christmas with this story. While at University, a friend of mine got a seasonal gig as a Santa Claus at the local shopping mall. He was a rather stout fellow, so it was a breeze for him. Usual mall Santa, big chair, photo station, two 18-20 year old girls as "elves". So after it was over, he let loose with the stories of multiple women who after the kiddie, would insist on sitting in Santa's lap to tell him what they wanted. They wanted HIM. He showed us the notes written with name, address and phone number. And they wanted Santa. He was supposed to show up wearing the suit and regalia. He (and we) were flabbergasted, had no idea so many women had a "thing" for jolly old Santa Claus. He was a newlywed, so had no interest. __________________ There is no such thing as too big a bust.
