I used to be a very keen cyclist. At one point I was doing 25 miles a day

I loved it, until I was knocked down by 4WD

broken leg. But i'm going to get back on the saddle again. It's good fun and great exercise.

I Myself Have Been A Cyclist For Over Twenty Five Years, Thirteen Of Those as A Racing Cyclist, Both Road And Mtb, Great Idea For A Thread.

Has every cyclist had his moment(s) when he bit the dust ? Had a lovely crash of my own last Summer....... legs gashed and cut up, a cut over the bridge of my nose, a nice hematoma under the right eye. Enough blood to make Bela Lugosi cringe. Rode home blind in one eye, showered off, called the wife up so she wouldn't freak out when she came home, and went to bed.

My biggest mistake was a kind young woman stopped her car to ask if I was alright. I said I was OK and she drove off. Guess I've been married too long....

Welcome back to the saddle. May the road rise up to greet you............

Well...it may be my idea, but like the Japanese - you have taken the idea and in this short time, done more with it than I ever could. I'm glad we have someone as well versed as yourself to run this.

I am grateful for the day the wife left you alone on Sunday, allowed you to watch some football and you walked into our thread!

If we could only find a way to NEVER let the Cowboys fans win...

Cyclocross looks interesting Rick, but I don't think BB is fit enough for it yet. Will check out the book though!

WHATEVER it takes...it took me years to find one that was a Steelers fan, so mine is on the couch next to me - as we flip between Minn/Zona, Bills/Chi and your Lions game.

But she does not get to control the remote!!!
