I like that too and by coincidence there is also a chippy 5 mins walk from my house. First time I went to England I bought fish and chips and I was shocked and disgusted to discover that the fish was cod rather than the much superior haddock, |

I saw a little something today that made me happy. In fact it made me laugh so hard I nearly pulled a muscle. I drive past an intersection near my house everyday. It is a 4 way stop light that has a bus stop on one of the corners. The bus stop has a bench for people to sit on while they wait. Like nearly everything today it has advertising on it just like this one.
The advertising is for a female real estate agent in the area. The ad contains a big picture of her with a big smile and just the perkiest face that you have ever seen. She is ready to sell you real estate and boy is she excited about it. Her name appears on the ad and her phone number. Her last name happens to be Quirt. This morning as I drove by the intersection and glanced at the ad on the bench that I have seen thousands of times I noticed that someone had committed a small act of vandalism. By a stroke of sheer brilliance some young man, and I am pretty sure it was a man, had drawn the letter "s" in black ink at the begining and end of her last name. So her last name as it appears now is "SQuirts". Call me immature but I was nearly hysterical when I saw it. Laughed out loud for 15 minutes. I can't even imagine the phone calls she received today. I can assure you they were NOT looking for real estate. She should have included an extra inducement in the ad something along the lines of: "Coming soon to your Neighborhood". Okay I'll stop now but I had to share this. Made me laugh all day long. PS. I tried to get a picture but it had been fixed by the time I got back this afternoon. Some people have no sense of humor.

Whenever I make a prediction in front of people and they look at me as though I am talking out my ass. Then when said prediction comes true after days, weeks, and sometimes months later, and, when reminded, people tend to be asses themselves. I guess nobody likes a sardonic "I told you so".
Ironic thing is I am right much more often than wrong, (but I pale compared to Nostradamus or Edgar Cayce ), the fools still don't listen and learn. Makes me all warm and fuzzy.

It's only a hamburger, but hamburgers this big make me happy But seriously, I stay up late every night too keep my regular hours on my days off as I work night shift. Every night before I go to bed I'll have my daily dose of cool food and visit the all night food van on the highway for my snack, makes me happy when I see that bloke and ask The usual Estreeter ? Yep, burger, double meat , double cheese, double egg, double onion, bacon and ketchup...........no lettuce
