I think Morrissey's backing music and his voice is generally pretty good. I appreciate that he write's personal music with good writing ability and it makes references to a wide variety of artistic influences (music, books, pop culture) which is interesting enough to ponder on I think.

Hitler's, "National Socialists" were not about left wing values but what he regarded as German interests such as ruling the world through their racial superiority and killing off dissent and self-perceived weaker elements such as disabled people.

FYI Morrissey: To kill people because you think they are inferior due to not being Aryan, not being in prime health, because they want to organize as a group for better workplace rights and invading other countries to rule, steal their wealth and subjucate their citizens is not Left Wing! I agree with that. Some of the songs The Smiths released back in the 80's (such has This Charming Man and How Soon Is It Now?) I actually quite like.
But he himself is just completely insufferable!

It's a case of I like what he DOES but not WHO he is.
