Until I get my sexbot it has to be the flexible railroad coupling. It's what allows a single engine to pull 100+ cars full of freight.

True enough - without the coupling the engine would have had to push.

Worlds first motorcycle as patented by Daimler at the London Patent Office in 1886. He and Maybach had developed and designed the worlds first motorcycle engine, a single cylinder 4 stroke engine which ran about 900rpm at full throttle. Not sure what the performance was like, but I note the absence of brakes...
