A very bad cough could be a sign of a serious infection such as viral or bacterial Pneumonia. That how it started with my late Mom. I suggest you make an appointment to see your doctor immediately!

The flu shot does not necessarily mean you won't get the flu. It is mainly used to reduce the severity of the symptoms if you get the flu.
I had to get one every year after I turned 50 because I worked in a hospital. Now I get it every year because I am a senoir, which makes me more susceptible.
