Imagebam Problem
ImageBam is working fine for me this evening, first time in a while.
On a Toshiba Satellite Pro L450 Laptop with: Operating system: Windows XP Browser: Firefox 52.1.2 (32-bit) Add-ons: None Country: rural, Colorado USA ISP: ViaSat, Exede Satellite Internet Apparently Firefox 52.1.2 (32-bit) is the latest version for XP; I thought that maybe the problem was with my antiquated system but it is working just as good as it ever has now. Last night I tried opening ImageBam images with my Surface tablet with: Operating system: Windows RT8.1 Browser: Internet Explorer 11.0.9600.18666 Update Version: 11.0.42 Add-ons: Not Sure Country: Same ISP: Same It worked fine then opening images I wasn’t able to open earlier on the laptop. But as I had shut down the laptop I don't know if ImageBam would have worked on it at that time, when & if it acts up on the XP laptop, again I’ll check on the tablet and post the results. |

I have been getting the same message every time I click on an image:
"This site can’t be reached www.imagebam.com refused to connect." I can't even access the website itself without getting the same message. Tried proxies and firewalls as suggested online but to no avail. I live in the United States and am running Google Chrome on an iMac desktop.

Looks to be something very random which is never the same thing
I wonder what odds the imagehost has introduced something to block access to individual servers if demand gets too high? |

Imagebam Problem
I just tried opening the ImageBam images above in Sam Spade‘s Post, they would not open with the Laptop, Windows XP, Firefox 52.1.2 (32-bit), in Colorado USA using Exede Satellite Internet. I get the “ Problem loading page”, Ref Posts # #2060 & #2078, but when I tried opening them with the, Surface tablet with: Windows RT8.1, Internet Explorer 11.0.9600.18666 Update Version: 11.0.42 they opened right up, so it must be a issue with the antiquated system I am running, whether it is XP or the older version of Firefox, not sure which or maybe both.
To add to the puzzle, I was able to open ImageBam images last night with my old laptop just fine Ref above post #2083. I am getting the same results elsewhere on this and other forums right now; won't open with laptop will open with tablet. I just checked and ImageBam is working on the laptop fine now @ 1:25am, Local MDT (Mountain Daylight-saving Time. Last edited by yukonlyc; June 8th, 2017 at 07:35 AM.. Reason: adding new info |

I just went there and noticed it myself, can't even upload anymore.
Don't think of it as the death of ours, but rather a time for a bit of a clean out, I suggest if you've been using imagebam for any posts here to upload your images again to imagevenue as I just noticed imagbox is also shutting down on 30th June and edit any posts you've done. All I can suggest at this point, that may change,

If you want the really bad news
same message is appearing on imgbox I think it would be a big mistake for members to find another host and continue on in the same way which has now seen 3 hosts choose to close down We saw it recently with some image Imagebam & imgbox closing 30.6.2017 Theres a reason their closing - they cant make a profit Last edited by buttsie; June 8th, 2017 at 10:39 AM..
