Not nowadays (or maybe only minor groups now [look at the US]), but it has happened in the past for sure. Nowadays the Christian Churches have been forced - not alown at the Age of Enlightenment [see Voltaie, Kant ect.] - into a more liberal system. And the way was really bloody until now.

It's in every religion I know appropriated, that they are knowing/claiming the only way to God!

The rest of the people is know as the antagonists of mankind.

UKIP's vote is going to tank next Thursday and I don't see this attack or peoples' reactions to it making any difference at all.

UKIP got 5% nationally in May's Local elections.
You think their vote on Thursday will not increase?

We are coming nearer to the real problem: It's at all the exegeses of the Bible/Koran.... and who is using it(!).

I'm sure you will find (nowadays!) also some (funny) sections in the Bible/Koran as well: for example the History of Creation).

And some apprehensive: for example "an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.
(Minimum halve of the mankind would be blind an toothless if you follow this premise).

A decision would be taken “after the election by the next government” about the future of the investigation, a Home Office spokesman said

From the last general election. I think on the whole the votes they got at the last general election will go either to the Tories or to Labour.

UKIP are first and foremost an anti-EU party. Anti-immigration as well, but for most voters they were a means to an end, which has been partly achieved. If those voters want the rest of Brexit to be achieved they will switch to the Tories (or to Labour if they think Corbyn is a better bet). Apart from Brexit, what else can UKIP deliver? Nothing.

If May (or Corbyn) betray us over Brexit then voters may switch back to them but it won't be on Thursday.

If the security situation worsens and we have a terrorist attack every month and the main parties don't seem to be doing anything except offering platitudes then people may look for somewhere to lodge a protest vote but again UKIP aren't a particularly good fit for that either because people still see them as a one-issue party whose day has come and gone.

Speaking as a Londoner(albeit a North one) once again our city is attacked and people killed and injured. The police responded within 2 minutes and the Emergency Services yet again sprang into action-this is something they have trained and drilled in for just such emergencies and outrages at this, but never really think that they will have to actually put it into practice. Members of the public also helped and some even became reluctant heroes. Three people whose heads were turned by an evil mind attacked Londoners and tourists in a local well-loved area Borough Market and in particular the Wheatsheaf pub/restaurant. I have never seen such scenes as a line of people coming out of a place(since Westminster attack in March) but with their hands on their heads, yet walking calmly and briskly to safety. You could ask why didn't the police shoot to disable but if you're faced with a lunatic with a vest that looks like canisters of explosives AND brandishing some kind of sword or large knife you have but a split second to make a decision and in this instance it was probably just as well they were shot and killed.

The Police have made mistakes in the past, once shooting a man that was carrying a bag with a table leg in it and mistaken for a gunman, but they are only human and with the terror level set to SEVERE again(down from CRITICAL) things are only going to be more fraught. I do think that Theresa May had the chance to do something "once and for all" the last time yet god only knows why she didn't. What we really need in London is a government to stop cutting police numbers and resources and get police back out on the streets and provide them with the money they need-NOW more than ever. I also see that the casualties amongst the 50 injured were French, Australian and New Zealanders...truly this is a global thing not just a London thing and something has to be done. All that said I still believe that London is still one of the safest places in the world.
