I also like how people are completely ignoring comments made earlier in the week by Kellyanne Conway about Jared Kushner's job in the White House being to make it the 'most powerful ever' and their hiring of Neil Patel- who in concert with Alberto Gonzalez created what became known as the Cheney papers which included such topics as to what conditions needed to exist for the White House to suspend the supreme court and eliminate congress from the lawmaking process. As well as nationalizing of metro police forces and institution of nation wide martial law (of course we don't know exactly what those conditions were since Cheney ordered them destroyed and Congress said- 'okay we'll ignore that you broke a dozen laws and just look the other way while we scream about Obama's birth certificate or something like that.') |

The Trump administration has done two more things that will affect the health of people not only in the US but world wide:
Told the CDC almost a month ago that their conference on the affect of climate change upon world health would not be authorized once he got into office. It was supposed to be attended by public health officials from various foreign countries. Re-instituted the abortion 'gag order' on organizations that not only deal with Americans but husbands and wives of people all over the globe. |

"Alternative facts". Not even a week in office and Trump and his minions have already made a solid contribution to the body politic. Just what we needed, another term for "Bulls**t".

I wonder if my credit card companies will take 'alternative money' for my bills.

You mean like your side was conned by Obama for 8 years? We put up with him for 8 years, the very least you could do is relax for his first couple months. |

All in all, he didn't do too badly considering GDP shrank 3.8% in the last quarter of 2008, unemployment was at 10%, he inherited two military quagmires, Republicans actively sought to sabotage him at every opportunity, and he started out totally unqualified for the job. We are all hoping that Donald Trump does well and America starts humming again. However, I have a pretty fair education in Economics and am rather dubious about the direction he is taking. Similar actions worldwide resulted in World War II. |

Like or not Obama gate the majority of the votes both times he ran, while the current president couldn't pull a simple plurality. Thàt being the case people are going to have a hard time giving him a chance when the people believe they were not the ones who put him in office in the first place...

I regarded Trump as none of my business - he is the Americans' choice, democratically elected, and I was prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt.
But now his assertion that "torture works" proves him to be beyond redemption. He has just legitimised every disgusting, hateful act carried out by rogue states and terrorists. All I can say is "don't bleat Mr Trump when some poor captured American serviceman is horribly brutalised doing your bidding. He will be paying the price for your abject stupidity". Here's hoping someone sensible in the administration can change his mind. Torture is always wrong. |

He's done nothing so far that's anywhere close to Liberal thinking.I'm glad their going to investigate voter fraud because I believe it's been going on for years. When they have precincts that are counting more votes than have registered voters, there is fraud. When they vote 110 to 120% in a time that the rest of the country turns out at 20 to 25% that's a lot more votes than just the votes that's over the registered voters. If those precincts are actually closer to the rest of the country their counting 75% of votes that were never cast.
