Don't get me wrong, he was a great Lord Mayor

But lets's just say he's in my age group and I know what he's like in personal life sort of, the kind of bloke that made a hero of himself on Saturday nights in pubs and nightclubs, at least in his mind he did.

Bit of a shithead from a personal point of view, was our towns Lord Mayor a few years back and hate to admit it, was doing a good job for the town before the State Government sacked him and the council. A lot of politics behind it, but for me to admit someone I can't stand from a personal stand point and not political says something ... anyway, he's gonna run for a seat in the next state government election.

That's it
Oh, and Adli opened a store in the old Mitre 10 hardware store on Anakie road.
Shithead he maybe, but the missus and I went to an Amy Winehouse Tribute show and he was on a table near us and I kid you not, the women he was with, on a scale of 0 -10, she was a twelve.

Yes, I took pleasure in sneering at him as a pretentious plonker too...but down deep I was seething with envy.

Kevin here. "Estreeter" don't wait for me to ask you for the daily or weekly report on things happening in Geelong. Whenever you're are online just give the report. Now maybe, just maybe there is nothing of real importance that happened. It could be something simple such as a crime report or a traffic accident. "Just do it" Thanks

Umm, Kev Ok

Today in Geelong an elderly lady who may or may not be my Mum was heard calling her son who may or may not be me an idiot who will never grow up

Umm, I know the CFA were called to put out a few small fires along the Bellarine Rail Trial, it's a walking and cycling track that follows the old railway line that ran between Geelong and Queenscliff, that service ceased in the early 70's I think. But the old railway station at Drysdale, half way between Geelong and Queenscliff is where the Bellarine tourist rail starts, runs along the old line to Queenscliff and uses old carriages and engines, the track is still the old narrow gauge, Last time I used it was for a thing they have every Summer called The Blues Train, a great night out with Blues bands and beers on the train

Umm, what else, Queens Park public golf course, probably the best public course I know of upped it's green fees. The Elcho Park public course is still a cow paddock and always will be It's that bad I won't even use the driving range there

Umm, what else, lets see, The old Ford Motor Companies toolroom is being leased by an tooling and engineering company, Marand, which is good.

Any of that helpful Kev

Everthing about aussieland is very interesting. If you look at any newspaper in a major or minor city in the U.S, most of what is reported is just the daily crime reports and these are on the front page. It wasn't always like that, but people here now are obsessed with stories about crime.

He's definitely got balls to make a mockery of Scottish tartan clothes in all public.

Let's say your city is having an election and one candidate looked like this the very first time you saw him

Like I said, he did a good job IMO, but he is a bit about himself a lot of the time
