I fear that there is obviously some misunderstanding around.

Guess you are talking about this:

I am on XP too, SP 3, Firefox 33, NoScript & Adblock

...and as you see, the ability to increase/decrease the text-field by these two up/down-arrows works absolutely properly. For reference, I have enhanced the text-field in the referred screenshot

All buttons work fine, "Thanks"-Button included

trying to give a bit of clearification:

To my knowledge this message means that the pimpandhost upload option for images which is normally in that position in the Field Quick Reply is now not available and the technician team is working on it, please have patience!

You can upload images nevertheless via other image hosters such as imagebam (see here: http://vintage-erotica-forum.com/t37...agebamcom.html ) or imagevenue ( see here: http://vintage-erotica-forum.com/t14...-uploader.html ) or others.

With kind regards, haVEFun here

PimpandHost is unavailable at this time due to new servers being installed. The plugin will be activated again once the server installation and testing is complete.

As stated before, using Win7, FF 33.03 this is my screen:

I have no clue as to why your browser shows something different.

Because I have XP and not win 7, but it does not depend on the operating system because, as I wrote earlier on Chrome is OK, and Opera, Safari. So I think it is a bug in the source page and asked the moderator to check on XP (VM), but he misunderstood me.

I Have XP too, checked with other browsers and with FF 32: the double arrows icon in the darker blue bar is there and it is working.

When i tried to upgrade FF to version 33 via internet i got the message that that version is not available ( suitable? ) for XP! so correct me if iam wrong: XP PC + FF33 may have compatiblity problems.

A general question and no offence ment: why are You concerned about the absence of this double arrow icon? does it really affect the functionality of the Field quick reply? if this is the only issue with Your system, just carry on with XP IMHO.

regards, haVEFun here.

I am running Fx33 on XP so perhaps that message just meant that it was temporarily unavailable?

On my other, Windows 7 machine, I'm running Fx28 and I don't see the double arrow in Quick Reply - what does it actually do?

[EDIT]
Oh, it rolls up the whole Quick Reply box so you don't see it. I tried it in IE.

And there's something in IE that I've never seen in Firefox: a spell-check - what's that about?

I saved this page in Chrome and opened in Firefox, and what I see is the double arrow. So as I thought there is an error in the source of the page, or the moderator can check it out?
