Another enhanced image. Is this the only pin-up picture featuring a sheepskin coat, I wonder. Stockings and suspenders are so sexy. I asked a girlfriend to wear some once - and her response was 'Those are so old-fashioned'. I say 'Down with tights!'

You might be right JGW, but I seem to remember some pics of Nicola Taylor in a sheepskin............perhaps. I get many senior moments these days!

A quick trawl through my files finds that sheepskin coats was a Bearsden photographer specialty. There are plenty of other pictures of girls in fur coats or coats with fur collars but these appear to be fashion items. In Scotland, sheepskin coats were a necessity in some of the areas and weather conditions he chose to shoot. Aye....Scots girls were no' daft!

Very impressive Manowar, but I suspect Toco or the original photographer did a lot of airbrushing prior to these images being published. I would have thought in the early/mid sixties the censorship wombles would have thrown a wobbler if they had been released unaltered? Nick
