[MB Followup] Cover Girls no.17, 1970 model
mod edit:
this thread is the follow-up to this mystery girl: http://vintage-erotica-forum.com/showpost.php?p=2088350 Larger versions (even than the ones linked by Sirch in the above mystery post), including some additional images: Exploring the web, it seems that Cover Girls no.17 was published in 1970 in Copenhagen, Denmark (Nordisk Bladcentral), but these pics. were perhaps a few years old at that point? As to solving the model's id, the only thing I can think of is that CG included pages advertising past model sets ("art photographs") for sale, which included a first name--see example below). So perhaps some subsequent issue included this model's first name? The (web) scans I have from CG no.20 don't include such a page. CG nos.03 & 07 both include the model sets 101-108 & she's not there, while as you can see below, CG no.17 shows model sets 126-139 & she's not there, either: It's v. much needle-in-a-haystack stuff. NB: some issues of CG included a listing of 8mm films for sale. Names there (e.g. CG no.07, #151-8) included the likes of Vera Novak, Maxine Miller, Wendy Luton, Lee Southern, & Margaret Nolan. So some websites' assertion that the above model is from the UK can't be ruled out. dupes from below. Last edited by effCup; June 11th, 2017 at 12:37 PM.. Reason: re-up |

I'd say the pics are contemporary; these more explicit mags had quite an old-fashioned look in the early 70s. I cannot quite put my finger on why, but I'd say she's French. |

Colour(ed) image
As you might be aware, this anonymous lady is one of my favourites; this colour(ed) image crops up from time to time, (thanks to the o.p.) and looks to be from the same session. I'm always hopeful of finding more...
Oh, and I'd go with French or Dutch for her nationality, but nothing whatsoever to back that up, just pure idle speculation. |

There's one more scan of her from that mag (included below) No names given. They called them Paris Photos on the cover. Don't know if that means the models are French. |

Further thoughts...
This lady is my favourite vintage model without a doubt - there is just something about her that oozes class and sensuality that is out of this world!!!
I believe that the CG17 set was photographed by Serge Jacques. The same Gigi model with the fur hat appears in the Taschen book about his 'Folies de Paris et de Hollywood' days (an excellent book by the way), and in the Gigi photos the parasol, gold coverlet and striped cushions seem to tie the different sets to him. Here are the only additional photos I have found from the CG17 set: and here are the only further photos I have found that come from the Gigi set with the feather boa: I hope this assists in inspiring further uploads! Found this one in Round The World Girls (in T.H.P. Vibra Color).
A Tudor House publication from 1969 posted by mogli63. Thanks mogli! http://www.vintage-erotica-forum.com...27#post2868527 This scan was not posted individually, so a quote won't show it. So I uploaded the scan here. They seem to be telling us she is from France. All the other pages also had a country listed. Last edited by Rubinski; August 9th, 2016 at 05:42 PM.. Reason: Reloaded scan |

Sadly, I don't know her name either. But she is one of, if not my favourite of Serge Jacques' models. Those blue shoes are probably the most photographed footwear of the era.
Strange, but my copy of 'Cover Girl' nr 17 is dated 1967, as you can see. It does not, however, have the page with the model pics, with names. But I wouldn't put too much credence with those names anyway. The girl posted as 'Jutta', is Alice Arno (Marie-France Broquet), so I guess the others are inaccurate as well. I do have quite a collection of this stable of mags, 'Cover Girl', 'Exciting', 'Exclusive in Color', and 'Modern Girls'. If you have any favourite models, I'll see if I have that issue. (I am looking for 'Exclusive in Color' nr3, if anyone has an extra lying around) And back to the model at hand, I have an issue of 'Revue' nr 75, also published by Nordisk Blacentral with her on the cover. Unfortunately, nowhere within the mag. |
