A tentative aka for Serge Jacques: Mario Costa, see here. The name Mario Costa crops up fairly regularly in Ugens Rapport (Dk) photog. credits.
edit: although now there's also a possible link between the names Mario Costa & Jean Pierre Bourgeois, see here. Last edited by effCup; October 4th, 2015 at 12:17 PM.. Reason: another linkage |

Further to the discussion of Hans Larsson aka Rupert Daines earlier here, there is a set of pictures in Fiesta 12-09, 1978-09 of a model named Merle and credited to the photographer Peter Press. You can see pics. of that set at Cream Cheese here. I think a different model from both Annette Kirkwood & Chris Cossens but interestingly described as half Danish & one quarter French. It looks like the same balcony and basket-like chair as in those other sets. So: I suspect Peter Press may once again be Hans Larsson | Rupert Daines?

Serge Jacques akas
Quote:
Mario A. Costa Cayrol Stevens T. B. Classique A. Bergman Just Marr Sarah Joyce My opinion is that the stickers were a reminder putted there to record under which alias the pictures have been sold, as it certainly was a must given the nearly innumerable list of akas used by Serge Jacques during his career. So, I am pretty sure we can add the above names to the list, just noting that Sarah Joyce has also been used by Jacques' wife Claudie Pellerin, during the time she worked for his production as a photographer. As a reminder, below are other aliases that were given in Photo mag of June 1982: Stéphane Jourdain David Courcel Art Kapone's Mary Hellen Primm Arielle Danielle Olivier Roland Carré |

Douglas Kirkland
In Newlook (US) 01-01, 1985-05 the pictorial of Annette (Schubert) is credited to Douglas Kirkland. The following scan came from someone's post here on vef but I cannot now re-find from where I got it so hopefully it's OK if I repost it here:
In both Newlook (Fr) no.01, 1983-08 & Newlook (Es) no.01, 1985-?? that same pictorial is credited to Burt Bunger. Again I can't re-find from where I got the first scan: So tentatively, Burt Bunger may be an aka for Douglas Kirkland? Joszka has kindly posted some info. about a US-based but Canadian-born photographer named Douglas Kirkland here--I presume he is the same person? |

Another sighting of the Hans Larsson | Rupert Daines balcony railing & cane chair--see previously here, here.
Judith Jane, thanks to Rick Danger. I'm not sure whether Rick meant to imply this pic. was from her set as Judit Jean in Players Girls Pictorial, date unknown, or not. The first three pics in his post resemble a couple of others from her set as Judit in Players Girls Pictorial, 1986-09, so they may well be all one and the same while the last pic. (above) is perhaps from a different mag.? Last edited by effCup; October 3rd, 2017 at 10:52 AM.. Reason: corrected id |

Sarah Joyce: one alias of Serge Jacques, then of Claudie Perrin
Here is a pictorial from Men Only, credited to Sarah Joyce. So, it may have been shot by Serge Jacques as well as his wife Claudie Perrin, since he was using this same alias before letting it to her, for the time she went on the other side of the lens...
Nevertheless, this issue of Men Only also includes another pictorial credited to Serge Jacques ("Grape Suzette"), this is why I think there is a good chance that the following pictures are indeed the work of Sarah Joyce, a.k.a. Claudie Perrin: |

The article cited the same aliases, with only two small changes: -Art Kapone instead Art Kapone's -Daniel Olivier instead Danielle Olivier.

Just to mention that I recently posted in his thread a sample of Serge Jacques' work under the T. B. Classique alias:
Note for mods: don't know if that kind of post is allowed, since I still have problem understanding well the concept of "bouncing threads" (no kidding)... |
