Bit of a long shot this one, but here goes. When I was a kid, my stepdad got sick one night and kept the whole house awake. So, I went downstairs and stuck the telly on, it was about 2am. To my surprise, there was a woman taking her clothes off. She was on stage and packing them into a Tesco bag. The next woman out was in leather and straddling a motorbike. There were two other women that I don't remember the routines for. Anyway, as far as I remember, the show was called Big Deal, but searches have proven fruitless as to which episode it was. This would've been around 1990 I believe.

The BBC series "Big Deal" starred Ray Brooks and Sharon Duce, and ran from 1984-86. Looking at the BBC Genome site, I can't see any reruns in the 1990s, and certainly not at that hour of the night. The BBC were broadcasting up to about 2:00 AM closedown, so it's not impossible.

There are brief synopses of the episodes on Genome, so it might stir a memory or two if you feel like wading through them.

Absolutely awesome! I can't believe this has been found! Shame the Anita Dobson part is missing though. All these years I thought it was from Big Deal, as I'd looked on Teletext and saw that name! Very happy now! Thanks all!
