I recently posted in Funnies in the thread "Boobs of the Day" using pimp and host. I looked at the first picture to make sure it was ok, and when I hit the arrow at the bottom of the screen to scroll down I got hit with ransomware, demanding $300.00 to unlock my browser. I rebooted and deleted the post. Thought you'd want to know.

I clicked last picture in Monica Vitti ( Vintage celebs ) and was swamped by some kind of malware. (am trying to sort it out now.

What sort of security do you use?

I have MacAfee and Avast, I also use Adblock Plus with Firefox and had no issues at all when I clicked of the image.

I was trying to use the QUOTE button for a post and when the screen returned the result was as if I clicked the REPLY button - blank. I thought there might have been a delay in posting the contents. I checked and there was no more activity for loading the screen in Firefox.

I thought it might be an issue with that post so I tried several others, in the same thread, and got the same issue. I was originally trying to QUOTE this post.

I tried the QUOTE button in some other random threads and it works. Is this QUOTE issue specific to this thread? Maybe not. I had the issue earlier this week in this post.

Anyone else having this issue or is it maybe my software?

Thanks for pointing out the post above. It seems that user lagerlout's solution does provide me with a way to view all the quoted content in HTML. Of course at this point I can't recognize, by visual means, that which I don't wish to QUOTE (specifically images).

Now using user MrInBetween's solution of flipping to the WYSIWYG format I can now complete my task. I suspect I will have to perform this two step process for all my problematic QUOTEs...

Since user rotobott has not encountered this problem it may suggest that it is platform specific. I hate when that happens!

Although I thought rotobott was probably using Firefox as well, I thought I'd try opening my troublesome post in IE, having set my editor default back to WYSIWYG. Same result, blank box. It just seems to be something about a particular post - note that, although I haven't put the setting back yet, I had no trouble seeing the quote above. (Must remember to do that though.)
