You can find plenty of Hispanic workers to do these kinds of jobs in California, but the results are usually not up to union journeyman standards.

Yup.. the same crowd that showed up and raised havoc at black lives matter riots, the same crowd that rioted at Trump campaign events, and any place else 'peaceful' protests turn violent.

However, there's some irony here. Berkeley was the center of the free speech movement in the 60s. 50 years later, they're protesting the very thing they used to stand for. Politics overrides everything to people preaching tolerance.. Milo is openly gay and that didn't buy him an ounce of consideration from the tolerant left because he's also a conservative. He could have been handicapped, too and it wouldn't have mattered. He had to be silenced.

Oh.. and if the tolerant left wasn't protesting free speech in Berkeley, there wouldn't have been a demonstration for the anarchists to hijack.

Or any normal person's standards.. I know of businesses locally that have, after being under bid by cheap illegal labor, begun to specialize in cleaning up/fixing/restoring places that used such labor and they blew the job. A friend of mine (a painter/wood worker) has more work than he can handle just cleaning up the messes left by cheap, substandard crews.

You do get what you pay for.

Not unless those students all of a suddents turned Into school administration. The protesters were in accordance with the original movement.

Again, you seem to miss the point of the free speech movement. It was for fighting the school administraton's regulations on the students speech and political affliations. The protesters being student led does in no way contradict what the free speech movement stood for. Here, is a video to help clear things up..

Yeah like charter schools the quality can vary greatly. Like anything dealing with labor pŕice > everything else. You also hear how the natives work can be comparable at twice the time and double the price.

The student body has really changed at UC Berkeley. In truth, the protesters were always a minority and often not students even in the Sixties. Most Cal Berkeley students were there for a world class education. The business schools and ROTC programs were very strong back then. The business school still is.

Now they have to use quotas. The typical enrollee is Asian, has a GPA over 4.0, multiple advance placement classes, and participation in extra curricular activities. (Not the kind Decadence & I are known for which is getting drunk, smoking dope, and chasing p*ssy. We're not billionaires, so we can't just grab it. Funny, the press complains, but those p*ssies often get wet when a billionaire grabs them. )

Really, I don't know who was in that crowd. You can just walk onto the campus and tickets to events are open to the public. It just doesn't seem like the type of thing that would entice Asian kids or the white and brown kids competing with the Asians for grades.

Tell me about it. You should see the mess they made of my apartment in the remodel and earthquake retrofit.

Here we go again. A 26-year-old white woman with breasts. Oh the shock! And she's donning a sports top and leggings..disgusting! Yes, according to the MailOnline, some viewers are "slamming" Coronation Street on account of Helen's attire..

Quote:
' 'Dressing her in gym gear is a cheap ratings stunt!': Corrie viewers SLAM 'nauseating' Rosie Webster as she exercises in a TINY pink sports bra'

By Ekin Karasin for MailOnline

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...-Sinclair.html
Question. Just how many viewers reportedly outraged? How many just sat back and enjoyed the show - I know I did; she looks as hot as hell in that setup in my opinion. Furthermore. I think those so mortified over a woman's form should really take a breath and take a look around. They might realise the world doesn't rotate around them.

Seriously, of ALL the things in this world they can take issue with, they latch onto this. Do they sit around all day just waiting to be offended? Do they think Coronation Street should be a mirror image of say, East Enders: lots of people with miserable faces arguing, fighting, moaning, scheming and in some cases, killing? Oh what joy.

Are those complaining nothing more than fictitious entities there to sell stories by whipping up a non-story, I wonder? After all if you take the gossip and the sex out of the Mail then like the Sun you're left with very little. At least the Mail provided some balance, however.

Helen, you go girl. I think the biggest tits here aren't actually your's (despite scrutinising them in great detail), but those who object to a woman working out and looking damn hot doing it. Visit any gym or beach and you'll see the same and more.

Furthermore, Coronation Street is no stranger to sexuality and the physical form, including stories and imagery related to lesbianism, homosexuality, transgenderism and single men stripping off to work on a building site. And ALL before the water-shed. No complaints there, apparently. I guess Helen's tits are just too easy a target for some..how tolerant.

So without further ado, I hereby present a couple of stills showing Helen in all her glory. Like myself, I hope they help make your day that little bit brighter (and hotter he he )

I have long suspected there are people out there recording 24/7 so they can go over stuff to find things they can be faux offended by. Then people who probably haven't even seen whatever someone else is objecting to, chirp in with their voice and complain they too were offended. I know the English especially have a reputation for complaining but these days it takes the piss.

The irony is of course that the more media coverage it gets the more likely the producers are to do it again and piss more people off. Ha fucking Ha.

I worked with a guy who had a large contract for mastic work on the outsides of buildings in London. He lost his contract to a Bulgarian who supplied and masticed purchased from Bulgaria for less than the English guy could buy his mastic. A year later he got his contract back which included removing substandard Bulgarian mastic which had already cracked and rotted.

The reality is 9 times out of 10 you get what you pay for. There is an old saying of buy cheap, buy twice. I think when it comes to contractors and work men it can be an apt saying. There will always be the odd guy that does an excellent job for a cheap price its just finding them.

I knew a guy who undercut people painting and decorating many years ago, a Polish guy. He gave a 5 year warranty on his work which many more expensive guys didn't. He always said if there was an issue he would come back and sort it. He could be cheap because he was always in demand due to the standard of work. I know at least 2 dozen people who used him and not once did he have to return to fix anything. He told me once the reason he offered a 5 year warranty was simply to motivate himself to do the best job he could in the first place. That way when the job was done, it was done.

I was watching a debate earlier, climate change

I noticed that the people who debate that climate change is real are more vocal than those that think it's a leftist conspiracy

Anyway, this isn't really politically correct, but when the people debating that climate change is real they lift their voice only slightly enough hammer something home when describing one who don't believe in it,
2 descriptions,

1, Climate change sceptic
2, Climate change denier

My issue ain't climate change, that's seperate, my issue is the typical force fed opinions used

I'll listen to both sides of that argument, but when one uses tactics of putting down the opposite side, I shut them out, they don't want to debate, they want to take over

This is true. When Monty Python's The Life of Brian premiered here in the states, religious conservatives were up in arms over the movie. All it did was drive up ticket sales.

When Mike Myers' The Love Guru came out, some of the Hindu faith were all set to protest. They cooled down and decided to let the film be judged on it's merits. The movie quickly vanished as did Mike Myers' career.
