Yes he would having carved out a career as an action hero.
Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz are expecting a baby soon. Craig has a daughter from his first marriage and Rachel a son from hers.

The James Bond girl, regarded as the first rather than Ursula Andress, Eunuce Gayson has died at 90. My everlasting memory of her is being in just a pyjama top and heels with a golf club as Bond opens the door of his room and sees her standing there-he is framed by the camera which is framing her beautiful legs(I often hoped to find a full nude of her but never did)

Major news-the latest director Danny Boyle, announced with great triumph by Barbara and Michael has pulled out citing "creative differences" and has severed all ties with the Bond franchise - filming is due to start at Pinewood Studios in December. No other front runners have emerged but I'd like to thrown a name into the ring here-what about Doug Liman, who has helmed several action movies.

Because of the above the release date of Bond 25 is now looking like it might be 2020 instead of 2019. Filming has been halted in the meantime as the new director is sought which means no Bond again for another year-damn it! Apparently Boyle fell out with Craig over something.


Oh btw have a listen to the new song by Tony Hadley(late of Spandau Ballet) and then tell me that wouldn't make a perfect James Bond tune-especially the bit at the end which sounds most Bondesque. It's called Take Back Everything.

Cary Joji Fukunaga has been announced as the new James Bond director. It starts shooting in March 2019 and is pencilled in for release 14th February, 2020 which if that is confirmed will make it the earliest release of a modern Bond film for decades as usually it is around October or November here.

He is also an advocate of seeing Idris Elba in the role... If that happens I'll likely not bother... It shouldn't go to a guy who's tried so hard to get cast in the role; more so when there are a handful of more suitable actors out there once Craig holsters his ppk for the last time...imho.

Elba is way TOO old to be Bond, they want to tie someone down to a 4 picture or so deal for a decade - Elba would be pushing 60 by then. No chance it will be him, its far more likely to be that Thunderbird lookalike from Bodyguard or someone we've never heard of.

Elba is a terrific actor, but he would not be the right choice for Bond. If that happens, I'll probably not watch it. Put him in another action role, but not 007.

What about that chap in Bodyguard, Richard Madden, he looked useful in fights and no doubt his arse being exposed in episode 2 was a hit with the ladies?
