You might have to confess to his holiness GreenSkull

No, I'm sure you are not alone in your dirty deed. The only reason I didn't steal was because I found a shopkeeper who was happy to keep me and other horny little brats happy

Don't get me wrong mate I liked the spread stuff too But I agree modern smut is bad. Porn heels, why? I want a girl wearing shoes that you see everyday on the street. Tats don't mind a small one, but some of the tats you see are weird. Fake tits/lips and god knows what else is a turn off. Give me Shanine Linton and Sophie Moone and I'll send you a postcard

Lovely photo as stated and I agree muscle men an plastic women I find a real no no. It's been said on here loads of time that back in the day the actors really looked like they were having fun with each other, too much aggression in porn these days.

Default Buying porn, was it a turn-on for you?

Certainly it was. Occasionally it still is (!), although naturally on nothing like the scale of when I was a sex-starved teenager, absolutely desperate for top-shelf material. In those days, buying porn was also nerve-racking, of course, but that added to the excitement.

I had to psych myself up for a risky mission. This I would do by cutting out a few exciting small photos from a girlie magazine already in my possession and taking them with me. While circling the block repeatedly, preparatory to plunging into the corner-shop newsagents, I would now and then take them out of my pocket for a quick look in order to whet my appetite and stiffen my ... resolve! Once in the shop and perusing the titillating covers, there wasn't much chance of my fleeing empty handed, however embarrassing the purchase. I just had to get my hands on some of that stuff! The stern-looking sixty year-old female newsagent was actually well known among the boys of the town for turning a blind eye to under-age customers. Getting my precious mag into the house and safely concealed in my bedroom was the more taxing challenge.

"Has anyone bought more than one at once?" asks billybunter above. Oh, yes, frequently! At least, in so far as I could afford it. Within a year or so of becoming a regular porn-buyer at that particular newsagents, I would go in once a month and buy the latest issues of Men Only, Club International, Knave,, and sometimes Model Directory too.

Soon I was making special bus trips into the nearest large town, where the choice was considerably wider, there was less chance of being recognised, and I could even get hold of spanking mags if I was lucky. Given the time and money required for such an excursion, it made sense to save up and buy enough to keep me going for a few months.

When I reached eighteen, I celebrated by venturing forth with a couple of sturdy (and opaque) bags in order to make my biggest bulk purchases yet. After a ten-mile bus journey, I made for the newsagents with the largest and most pornographic top-shelf and bought £35 worth of mags in one go. This included several spanking titles such as Roue and Blushes which were already £5 each, perhaps I should explain, as well as plenty of Whitehouse, Playbirds, Blue Climax, and the like, so I wasn't clearing the entire stock. As I took one magazine after another down from the shelf, I thought to myself with a certain ridiculous pride: "What a perv I am!" The shop assistant was a middle-aged woman, not wholly unattractive, whose response to ringing up all these titles on the till was nervous laughter. Then I walked a couple of miles to the nearest sex-shop and spent another £40 on rip-off censored editions of Private and a magazine called Exciting whose front cover lived up to the name (a close-up of a model with tight cut-off denim shorts pulled right up into her crotch). It was very easy to spend big money in sex-shops in the 1980s: prices for 'harder' mags were actually higher then than they are now.

As to my feeling when making the purchases, I cannot better Mr Boss's description in a previous post: the simultaneous rush of blood to my face and my cock was thrilling. I had spent the accumulated savings of months, but my porn seemed worth every penny when I got home and ceremoniously removed the mags one by one from the brown-paper bags in order to begin the study of their contents. Repeated late nights over the next few weeks left me visibly tired, but happily my family attributed this to the strain of A-level exams!

Back in the old days I would trawl around all the local newsagents and if there was a woman behind the counter or if the shop was too busy I'd move onto the next one, trying to see what was on the top shelf without looking like I was actually looking. Lol. I began buying Mayfair and the like but soon progressed to harder stuff, which eventually led me to some awful dives in London, mostly to buy third-generation videos.

However I got used to buying my skin mags from a local newsagent that was usually run by a young Indian woman, and yeah, it was a turn-on. We got quite chatty after a while, I guess because I was always so well behaved. She always had a big smile for me.

But my single most memorable experience was when I was in my mid-teens. I was in a local newsagent and looking at the film magazines when a girl came in, stood right next to me, took down the hardest magazine there and began to flick through it right in front of me. Of course I was too shy to do anything, but it certainly made my day.

I found a newsagent in Thackley (between Leeds and Bradford) that sold Spanking Letters. I went in one Saturday lunch and smiled and browsed and took a copy off the shelf. When I turned to pay a young girl had appeared and my man was gone. She giggled as she took my money.

I have never been scared of buying porn again. But Lord was I red faced that day.

I've only ever bought a small amount of mags from shops. Y'see, back in the '90s when I was in my early to mid teens, I'd borrowed/nicked a few PRP mags of the time off my brother and thought they were amazing...but unfortunately by the time I was old enough to buy mags for myself, this 'golden era' was over and the newer style of mags didn't do much for me. So yeah- I preferred to just buy older mags online (and still do).

I made a few exceptions when I was at university though- if I remember correctly, the 1st one I ever bought from a shop was a MW "Best of Jo Guest" special...I got a little 'buzz'/adrenaline rush I suppose when I handed it over to the old woman behind the counter, but she didn't bat an eyelid, which cancelled out any 'naughtiness' of my actions hehe!

After that if I wanted a mag 'cos the covergirl had caught my eye or whatever, I used to enjoy walking 'round the outskirts of the city looking for obscure newsagents to buy it from...partly so my mates wouldn't see me, but mostly because I liked exploring! So can't say I ever got that 'turned on' buying mags, especially when I knew that more often than not they'd mostly not be to my taste!

A couple of years after this, having not bought any mags in a while I'd totally lost my bottle, so I actually felt a little ashamed whenever I went to buy one...one time I did the "buy a newspaper (and a bar of chocolate!) at the same time and hide the mag under the paper so the others in the queue won't see it and the girl at the till won't think you're a *total* perv" trick! I think this was the last time I ever bothered!

It's much more exciting getting a massive heavy bundle of '90s goodness in the post and getting a quizzical look off the postie like "just what have you got in here?!", then rushing back inside to see what delights await me!

Many things... style, model, plot, setting, the guy what she fuck, as these are the factors that turn me on, because when I did not understand these things, buy just what my pocket was, magazines that only cost US$ 1 or US$ 2.80, and I got very curious to cover, that also turned on me because he thought the best came inside and the 5 magazines I bought for that reason only 2 meet you I guess.

But when I had some purchasing power, and could aspire to such magazines, the first was a brand VDC Italy patches CCC, Staviss and others, after acquiring the Private, that turned me on more, until I bought those Silwa much turns me on, because in my country was easier to acquire than CCC.

I had a lot of Silwa, and only two managed to keep the first I bought it Masturbation 15 (which is Blue Collection in Spanish-language), they have a superior style, so I turned over.

The now in the same way, although at the faded print, would be nice Silwa and his group continue to make the best porn out there, but in my own country makes it both in print and on the Internet.

I have not buy them, not because there are other ways to enjoy it as spend money with women, you have not found them and no matter whether 1994 or 1997 model, because the same way I see other things that I do not know

Like others who have posted here, I went through the character-building right-of-passage long walks and cycle rides around the local towns looking for newsagents I would feel comfortable buying from. It's interesting the split between preferring to buy from men or women. I always felt more comfortable buying from women - but I have no idea why.
My first mag was an Escort, purchased perhaps foolishly from a newagent around the corner from my house (the long journeys came after this) when I was 14. Convinced I looked older than my years, I was mortified when the woman behind the counter (who, it turned out, was the mother of a boy in my class at school!) put it into a brown paper bag and said "Keep it in there until you get home, or you'll have me shot."
Another memorable one (Penthouse, if memory serves) I was served by an attractive Asian lady, who could have been 25, she could have been 40, from a 15-ish year-old's perspective there's little difference. I handed it over the counter to her, and she looked at it, and said, with a little disappointment "Oh, I'm not in that one."
I'd like to say I countered with a witty and charming reply, but I was a shy teen, made even more embarrassed than before. Memory is a little hazy now, but I reckon I would have shot out the shop pretty quickly!

I suppose for a lot of women in newsagents its a bit of fun serving teenage guys in that situation. It must give them a bit of a thrill as well. Imagine yourself if the situation was reversed and you were serving a shy and embarrassed 16 year old girl when she was buying a dildo, I'm sure you would have something smutty to say to her! The female newsagents must get off on the power they hold over school boys buying porn.
