Your whole country is full of sports bars. Go to one of them.

Your cricket match won't be on any of their channels either. I have checked my 300+ channel package. None are carrying it, but I have not checked Pay-per-View.

You will be pleased to know that I have a choice of several old "Law & Order" episodes to watch anytime, day or night.

Well, it turns out I was wrong. I guess if the NHL can have teams in Arizona, 2 each in Southern California and Florida, Nashville, St. Louis, the Carolinas, Dallas, and San Jose, they can play ice hockey in Australia, but God knows why.

I'll probably be hearing about the Russian surfing championships, soon.

Yes, this list is of a group of NHL franchise cities that get little or no snow. I am not into cold, wet white stuff personally being a native of the Bay Area with its 6.8 C lows in the winter and 24 C highs in the summer. Our record low is -3 C which is rarely seen and the high is 43 C. We get 3 or 4 days a year over 37 C. Our weather is pretty monotonous, but comfortable..we are in the dead of winter here with our lows above 6 C and our highs of 16 C. It's a bit colder where you are now, I take it.

I will tell you what, if I lived in Australia you wouldn't catch me playing ice hockey when I could go to the beach and see all the Aussie babes in bikinis or less.

Freakin' Aussies are almost as crazy as Americans.

I would never go to a sports bar. They're full of big beefy guys guzzling beer and eating crap and going ape-shit when they watch sports on the big t.v. screens, and getting into fights(that is what I've heard). Besides I am not even a team sports lover. My favorite sport(really a game) is pro golf. Since 2002 I have been watching the PGA golf games. My favorite player was Vijay Singh who is from Fiji, but has lived in Vedra Beach Florida for most of his life. Now he is too old to play on the PGA. His greatest season was 2004. He won 9 games including a "major", won more than 11 million dollars, was voted "Player of the Year' and was inducted into the PGA Hall of Fame in 2006. At age 52 he still plays on the PGA Tour , but usually does not win.

If that was with that big player, The Fridge I think he was known as, no thanks . saw it and .... B O R I N G.
too bad you think American football is boring. In my case I have seen some of the most incredible catches of the football by the "wide receiver" as much as 80 yards away from the "quarterback" who threw it. Also great tackles by the defensive linemen, great runs by the "running backs" great scores made by the "field goal kicker"., fantastic touchdowns by the running backs or a quarterback, or a defensive lineman who intercepted the football thrown by the quarterback of the opposing team. In every football game I have seen there are at least one or more incredible plays, and this is as much true for college football as it is for pro football.

Surely you live in a large cosmopolitan city and you could go to a lesbian sports bar , aren't you manly enough to over-power a woman ? Then you could watch your cricket game while drinking a pink lady

Yikes! Have you ever seen the women in those lesbian bars. They would break me into pieces and cook em on the grill and give the pieces to the dogs!
