Burrowing myself deep in pointless pedantry, I think one thing that's certain is that all three countries cannot finish top of Group A4. Only one of them can, which will be decided on Sunday.

Oops-no used laptop this time and the keyboard is a bit strange to me still-I much prefer to use a raised proper keyboard. Of course that should read "we owe the Croatians for the World Cup knockout they inflicted on us earlier this Summer"

I'd also like to see Liverpool Ladies start winning some games, this season has been diabolical for them, perhaps we need to sign some new players. On the subject of that for the men I read that Ousamane Dembele is a target for Liverpool-will he want to come here? Have to wait until January.

There is actually a WORLD outside the West Midlands.

Like London

I read that report... plus the follow up via the local media.

No person arrested made trial, all arrests were for abusive behaviour/drunkeness etc.... none bought to Court.

The majority were after the last Villa v Blues match when I think a blink of an eye could cause an arrest by a bobby needing 'brownie-points'

Try looking at the conviction rates in London !

Watched my 3rd match via TV....since Leicester.

Trying to get my energy for footie up agin, 'cos we play the vile Sunday
Mid-Day, and I'm not really in the mood...yet.

Skipped Watford v Liverpool... skipped everything on me 'Home-Alone' Saturday.

Watched the second half of Spurs v Chelsea...plus halftime highlights

Hazard a superb-con-artist... the guy needs a serious Ref.

Son... a brilliant solo-made goal... up there with Gigg's

That Wembley pitch is crucially bad.. will the Spurs suffer when they get to play on a decent pitch at Home.... 2020 ?

GETTING...Up for the Vile v Blues,,, regardless of the result (well almost

)

Footie can be good, but it took me and many others awhile after Leicester, to have any pleasure.

Settled into the chair in front of the goggle box with my beer and doritos to watch the second leg of Copa Libertadores only to discover ice hockey. After a peruse of the news channels found out the game had been delayed due to the attack on the Boca coach.

The game is now off as four Boca players in hospital, one with cuts and bruises, one with slivers of glass in his eye and two from in hailing tear gas.

Given what's gone before things not looking too good for River Plate. Boca were thrown out of the competition a few years ago after fans attacked River Plate players in the tunnel.

Game will now be played on Sunday.

Not the best result for you today, but don't let it put you off footie, if you need reassurance watch the first half of city at our place, the off the ball running was superb, to which we had no answer. Second half they just put the car in neutral and we still could not make a dent.

I know its just one game, but surely Ranieri cannot repeat with the cottagers, what he achieved at Leicester?
